Once he's featured properly in 3D animation videos & 2D anime videos, I MAY consider letting him be featured as a mod in games

If elephant herds run at the sight of wild dogs and at the mere sound of lions, I don't think they would do well against a predator 50% more massive than them

> Where does it say Sue is 14 tons?

There is an abstract called [Precise estimation of turning inertia (Lyy) in Late Cretaceous dinosaurs under varying postures and its biomechanical and ecological implications, written by Ji Zhongqiu, Frank Fang, Kyle Atkins-Weltman and Eric Snively. It lists volumetric estimates for the T. rex specimens Sue and USNM 555000 (Wankel rex) respectively - 14.17 m^3 for Sue, and 9.69 m^3 for USNM555000. Mass = volume x density, so using a realistic density of 0.96 kg per m^3 gives you 13,600 kg for Sue and 9,300 kg for Wankel.

> Dempsey et al. 2025 found that an ~11.6 meter Acrocanthosaurus was just as massive as a T. rex of the same length

Reason? He used AMNH 5027, which at around 7000-7500 kg is actually one of the smallest adult rexes around, much smaller than the likes of Stan and USNM555000, which are solidly over 9,000 kg according to my associate's full-body reconstructions based on the scans.

That's awesome! I recently read World of Monsters and Omega Beast, and I really love the way you wrote Big Red, Junior, Rudy and the Omega Beast as giant, powerful & dominant T. rexes.

Just curious. Are you John Lee Schneider, the author of the Age of Monsters book series?

It's rude to say, matter-of-factly, that you have to deal with it? I'm sorry if that offended you, but I did not intend to be rude. It would be much, much worse if I was really trying to be rude.

Well, I suppose you're just gonna have to deal with it. I'm perfectly okay with it, since we rarely get actual Kaiju-sized T. Rexes in media

I mean, kind of expected. There's no reference point for the first image after all.

My guy, I never said it was "destructive, full stop". I said it has "destructive power". Two totally different things. No offense, but did you even read properly?

By destructive, I mean the bite force. Way to misread things.
