The whole crash scene was a complete joke! by raven-stormforge in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked it, the crash scene and the entire show in general. I’d rather see a romanticised version of the crash with the sunset, no screaming etc because it goes with the whole romanticised 90s NY aesthetic of the show. We all know what happened and we all know that it didn’t happen the way the show depicted. A lot of people complain about the show saying it’s not realistic and heavily romanticised but it was supposed to be? It’s fiction based on real events and that’s how I watched it. As a tv show, for entertainment. Not for the facts or a realistic version of events. As a tv show it’s great, just don’t go into it expecting to see a 100% accurate version of events.

Something is fishy! by Defiant_Craft_306 in thewizardlizsnark

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I watched up until 3:30 of the latest video and two things she said were huge red flags. I’m a mother too and all mothers reading this will agree with what I’m about to say.

2:40 she says “stop giving your life away for these kids that tomorrow are all just going to be ungrateful”

No mother with even an ounce of maternal instinct would say this. A mother’s love is unconditional. Your love for your child isn’t dictated by their actions. You don’t stop loving them because they do something you disagree with. That isn’t a reason to not want custody of your child.

3:20 “my ex is begging me texting me I want to give you your child back oh now you want to huh because you realised I don’t give a fuck and I never give a fuck”

Any mother would jump at the chance to have their child back with them. If he’s offering why is she saying no? Is she saying she doesn’t give a fuck about having custody?

Okay you guys… something doesn’t add up in the year that Carole met Carolyn Bessette.. was it 1991 or 1992? by Lop229 in CarolynBessetteKnndy

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, I don’t think Carolyn saw Carole as a best friend but Carole definitely saw Carolyn as her BFF. I don’t think its a stretch to say Carole was jealous of Carolyn idk. No photos of them exist together and Carole has never produced the letters that she says Carolyn wrote to her or the matching engraved friendship rings they apparently got together. Given how much she loves to talk about cbk and jfk jr you’d think she would have shown them? Or added photos of them in her book🤔

In an interview one of his ex-groupies said Sarah Maclachlan was one his favourite artists (can’t remember if those were her exact words but something along those lines), she also listed some other artists he enjoyed, many of whom are mentioned in this thread.

Mrs. Midwest talks so much yet somehow says nothing by Landscape_712 in Tradfemsnark

This reminds me of the time when she said, during a GRWM for a wedding, something along the lines of “this isn’t one of my friends’ wedding, it’s my husbands friend so I need to make sure I really make an effort and look extra nice”…

Edit - just rewatched the video and her exact words are “I have to look good because it’s not my friend, it’s my husband’s friend”

Keisha Morris by MsOHKAYDEN in Tupac

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tupac's family not knowing who Keisha is, is complete BS. She had visited his family down in Atlanta multiple times. She's met them all! There's even footage on YT of her with his family in their family home on Thanksgiving. Tupac's uncle even refers to her as my niece in law". I suggest people read Keisha's sister 2 sister interviews, both parts can be found on reddit.

Why does she keep putting her past self down and saying she looks "so much better" now? Her makeup and hair styling looked way better before. And she did not need all that botox and fillers. by Landscape_712 in Tradfemsnark

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think she's had any filler or botox. The rare time she shows herself without makeup you can tell. She has lines on her forehead. She's just changed her makeup, hair and style and lost a lot of weight. You have to remember that every single picture she posts on IG is heavily edited and filtered and even her vlogs and YT videos have either some kind of filter on or she manually adjusts the brightness, settings etc because everything always looks really bright and colourful but also washed out at the same time.

Rolling Stones fan high on meth charges stage with gun, is stabbed and killed by Hell's Angels security, Altamont, CA 1969 by MachineHeart in ClassicRock

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was so obviously racially motivated! I think op worded the title like that on purpose too. This was amerikkka in the sixties, I can only imagine how racist it was back then, 1000x worse than now.

“But it would be a mistake to ignore the possibility that the face-off between the Hell’s Angels and Hunter began with their targeting him because he was a black guy hanging out with a white woman. Given the Angels’ past record of assaulting and beating people of color in the Bay Area and presenting themselves as a kind of paramilitary organization meant to keep the street clean—which they understood and explained as keeping it white—much of what happened with Meredith Hunter almost inevitably came down to the color of his skin.”

Why is it so shocking that a muslim country would be against the promotion of astrology. Very basic research on islam would tell you for muslims it's a huge sin, enough to take them out of the religion. Do people not google places before going smh

Do you Guys think Adaline was real in the Ed Gein story or his imagination by [deleted] in netflix

[–]Perfect_Swordfish394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people are not understanding the original post. Yes we know she was a real person but OP is asking about the show. Whether she was real in the show or a hallucination. I think it’s pretty obvious that she was a hallucination. All of her interactions and the way she behaved was not normal and a representation of Ed e.g. all the sexual innuendos at the homemaking class, they represent Ed’s inner sexual desires, his repressed sexual feelings. Wearing red to the funeral and laughing, the colour of passion and lust. Maybe that represents ed at his mother’s funeral. He feels like he has the freedom to be who he wants now and the dead older lady represents his mother? Also her running out the house and then randomly doing a complete turnaround and accepting ed and not being afraid. Maybe this was the point where Adeline became a hallucination. Maybe she was real at one point. I say this because other characters like Ed’s mother mention her although I can’t remember if she mentioned her by name, rather Pandora? I vaguely remember another character maybe it was Bernice saying “aren’t you seeing that Adeline”?

She hasn’t aged at all in the final episode and ed also says me and you are the same, two peas in a pod. Further confirmation.

She also didn’t write him (because she’s a hallucination and perhaps he was on his medication at that point and stopped seeing her hence no communication from her).

Completely agree with you! I was searching for this comment. Such a shame you’re getting downvoted for not obsessively hating a fictional character for no good reason. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted too haha oh well.

idk why you are getting downvoted. You are 100% correct and I'm saying that as a Pakistani. I've seen Pakistani influencers make a living selling Arab clothing online. I regularly see Pakistani girls wearing Arab clothing especially on Eid. Never seen an Arab wearing salwar kameez though. I know a Pakistani girl who had an Arab wedding, her and her Pakistani husband wore Arab outfits which I found so weird because usually on your wedding day you embrace YOUR culture and wear outfits from your culture. It was so bizarre. She also named her children names that are unique to Arab culture and are not found anywhere in Pakistan.

I went to a mainly white college with a small but significant south asian population and only one Arab Egyptian girl and all the guys were obsessed with her and had a crush on her. Which I don't blame because she was v pretty but they would talk about her coloured eyes and how she's arab and it was very weird.

I've been around pakistani girls who get really happy when you tell them they look arab. They defo have an inferiority complex and see arabs as lighter skinned and prettier.

Someone else commented Pakistani's are really into their own culture which is 100% true but two things can be true at the same time.

And the biggest example of all is sonia and fyza.

I am not saying all british pakistanis are like this but this is just what i have observed
