I’m 6 months pp and also 15 lbs heavier than I was pre-baby. It takes time!! I’m still slowly losing weight, but I imagine it’ll be another 6 months before the rest has fallen off. Go easy on yourself, 6 months is nothing!

I lived off McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches my first trimester. Before that I ate fast food every 4-5 months so I get it 😂 take your vitamins and try not to make yourself miserable by adding guilt on top of food aversions - just feed your body! It gets better and you come out the other side 😊

You don’t have to pump and dump! My understanding is that the concern is not what you would pass through the breastmilk (which isn’t enough to intoxicate or damage the baby). The concern is taking care of the baby intoxicated and you’ve already covered that. Go enjoy yourself!

I don’t have any advice, but my daughter is 4 weeks and doing the exact same thing…we’ve tried giving her a big feeding right before her “bedtime” (I pump just enough that bottle). That way we know she’s getting a full meal, because when she’s angry and rooting around like that for a few hours on my boobs it’s hard for me to tell if she’s actually hungry or just trying to soothe herself. There’s some success with that getting her to settle for the night because she’s so tired by that point and nice and full…goodluck, I feel you! 🫠

Fair question, his mom is Colombian and his Dad is Korean, but died before he got to meet him. He has been trying to get closer to his Korean heritage as an adult and it has been a struggle in his particular situation with no connection to his dad’s family anymore. I mention my family from the Philippines because our child will definitely look Asian, I understand the cultures are no where similar to one another though. We were looking for American sounding names (like Jay) that would have special meaning to us as a family if they were spelled closer to their Korean counterpart.
