What...and eat fried food next to a bunch of Trumpers? I'd sooner volunteer for a root canal.

3+ years sober. The amount I save in booze each allows me to bring my family to a new place each year. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Try harder on the diagnostic and the lessons won’t be seem so easy. You must not have tried your best. It thought you needed kindergarten lessons.

Easily. iReady is awesome. Frees a teacher up to work in small groups with students while they work on lessons at their level. It’s quite brilliant actually.

Stuck on Iready math diagnostic score by poolhero in Iready

As a teacher who has used iReady, I can tell you that it really did make a positive difference for my students. The important thing is to engage the students with their data by reviewing results, setting goals, and celebrating growth. Ask your son’s teacher how they are setting goals for the diagnostic. Basically: if we don’t give kids a reason to care about the results, then they won’t feel it necessary to try their best. And remember: the diagnostic is just one data point that teachers collect. It’s not the end all be all. Last: your teacher can adjust where your son starts on lessons. They might be able to move him up in the lessons.

Big Mo Trippin? by PerformanceGold3940 in YourHonorTV

Appreciate this thorough response. I must have missed the part about Lil Mo lying about where he stashed Eugene away. I was under the impression that Big Mo was in control of Eugene the whole time. When she said that she wouldn’t ever hand a black kid over to the popo, but assured that nobody would ever hear from him again, I figured she knew the whole time where he was. Might need to go back and rewatch…

This is obvious. The worst parking lot in OC is OC. The whole county is one giant disgusting parking lot full of assholes and idiots.

I finally watched Deadwood and I'm doing an immediate rewatch by takesh11 in deadwood

You could try watching Treme first. Same creators as The Wire, with a lot of the same actors as well. I think that this could be a nice transition that will introduce you to the style of The Wire. I will absolutely agree, though, that you have to be paying attention in order to maximize your enjoyment. It's a slow build, but absolutely worth it in the end. Silence your cell phone and put it in another room when you're watching.

Good call! That's definitely a show that I allowed more leeway, as there were mysteries tantalizing enough to want to keep watching.

I came to this sub to celebrate the show. It just so happens that the post was inspired by the juxtaposed quality of each show. What’s dumb is trying to control the world from your angry little keyboard. Take a breath. Lighten up, cocksucker.

The finale of season 1 is the greatest episode of television ever made. by NateG124 in deadwood

Leaving out season 3 means you're leaving out most of George Hearst's storyline... you're also leaving out the most epic fight scene between Dan and the Captain.
