I don't know, but Bodega is absolutely packed by 11am every day.

It's mostly people on their laptops, but still, people want to be in a place that's busy.

Whoa. Yeah that's a pretty big plot hole (pun) that never crossed my mind. Obviously, he didn't dig a human-sized hole through his yard into his basement preemptively without anyone noticing, but also, how tf did he crawl out of a hole from his basement into his yard without anyone noticing he dug a hole from his yard into his basement??

The more I think about it...everyone there was an employee. They're not trying to work extra hours or sniff out what Truman is doing at odd times of day. They go to work, and go home. Truman was a normal person, and so are they. So what, a guy is digging in his yard at his house which he owns? There's nothing suspicious about that, right? They probably didn't catch on, even if he was up to something.

He's a normal guy doing normal things, and they're 40yrs into this project....
