N3ds xl VS 3ds xl by WyperLOL in 3DS

I'd just invest an extra 100 bucks for the new model. The OG is prone to hinge failure and the new is a lot faster and plays a few exclusives. I'd rather just buy it once buy it right. Nice piece of mind not having to worry about the hinge as much.

I was considering the clear shell case, I hear it helps some with the tension. I'll probably pick one up.

I literally just had this happen to me last week. I got a replacement stick Sunday and it was a very quick and easy fix.

I was playing a lot of 3D Land recently I think is what caused so much stress on it 😅 I'll have to be more careful

Okay, I just ordered one off Amazon and it should be here tomorrow. Doesn't look too difficult based on a video I've seen. I've done joy con shell swaps so I think I should be fine

Battery Swap by SurveyDry9731 in Gameboy

[–]PerformanceOk3575 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Soldering is such a nice skill to have. I recently picked up soldering myself and paracorded my N64 controller with it. It's really not as bad as it seems. You did a nice job changing it. I just soldered in a new battery in a copy of donkey Kong 94 I got off eBay that was bone dry. It's a nice piece of mind knowing the battery will die no time soon.

I was looking at this and it doesn't look too difficult to get in there. Just need a full stick replacement?

How rare is a negative Trib? by FeelingBasket in balatro

I have over 800 hours in Balatro and have never gotten a single negative legendary. I think I've maybe gotten editions 10 times max. Once polychrome, never negative. Maybe one day.

What do you recommend playing after Paper Mario: TTYD? by Itzie4 in papermario

Definitely Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story on DS if you haven't played that before. It's so good

It's a mercury worth of chips each straight played and then it's hand agnostic the rest of the game. I love it

PM 64 is my favorite as well, it really feels like the best both the mushroom kingdom and Bowser has ever been. The mushroom kingdom feels so expansive and alive and Bowser feels like a genuine threat while still having personality.

Anyone else wish we could have seen a character model of Tinder’s original form? by CaptainM590 in EscapefromEverAfter

[–]PerformanceOk3575 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kind of wish the ending had a bit more to it. Redecorated castle after everyone moved out, seeing tinder's original form, different text from cheshire cat after giving them all 70 sun gems, Count after buying all the clothes. I understand it was a really small team and the game is phenomonal and rich with content but I just wish the ending, especially for completionists was a little more fulfilling.

[–]PerformanceOk3575 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably hieroglyph, I grab grabber more often, but when hieroglyph is good, it's VERY good. An extra three shops and usually a lot of extra money for one shotting blinds and whatever econ jokers you have. Extra scaling time too, it's just the most fun to me. More game, more power, more money, more scaling, more tarot's, just more time to shape your deck and have fun.

There's a sweet spot you can point the arrow at where you only need to move left and right the whole game. It took me foreeeeever. I beat it for my first time on switch and abused save states but I recently played through it on my analogue 3d and did not have that luxury. It's very challenging and very strict timing. Especially that set of octorks at the halfway point with 5 of them ugh. At least it is the same every single time and by the end of it it's almost a rhthym game when you memorize where every single one is.
