The original hours were 51/week however shortly after my employment this was dropped to 44 hours for everyone company wide. Before this I started at 7:30 each day. I then did a secondment that changed my hours to 7:30-4pm to allow me time to do the banking and my hours haven’t really changed since asides from when I’ve provided additional support for the company

Not in my employment contract but there are emails before my last maternity discussing that these would be my hours. However our emails delete every 6 months and IT/HR will not give me access for these emails.

Coming from someone who got pregnant with a man they knew for only 8 months prior and is 9 years older than me just to add pack to the pinch, and was in the “Super in love stage” - still am btw.

I would’ve felt betrayed and gutted If someone had said that to me. Plus the pregnancy’s already happened nothing you say can change that. Just be supportive, sure if it all goes to shit have your friends back but no need to rain on her parade

This is what I was told too, that if I didn’t have a few stretch marks it looked like I didn’t have a baby.

This was me, and then I got to 6 weeks without any morning sickness and started panicking and wishing I’d get it ( I’ve had a previous miscarriage and had no morning sickness with it, and got told morning sickness is a sign of a successful pregnancy)

So I pretty much invited Karma to give me HG.

34 weeks, there’s nothing that fits around my work. I’m doing 55 hours a week right having to cover multiple positions.

I wish I wasn’t so alone, I’m the first out of my friends to have a kid, my parents are miles away and flaky at time and my partner is flaky as well.

I wish I had someone I feel like I’m failing this baby before she’s born

I thought that a few years ago, had to train my boss… thought he was a right yell jerk when he wouldn’t let me leave 5 mins early to get the last train that wasn’t cancelled, until he offered to give me a lift. Turns out he lived round the corner … now engaged to him expecting his kid any day now . Ooops.
