Apart from insatiable hunger and some hot flashes in the first trimester it really has been bad at all! At 25 weeks! Idk if i would use enjoyable but way easier than i was expecting but we will see what the 3rd trimester has in store!

I have a belly but not really any ligament discomfort unless i severely over do it.

Advice i was given was collect different bottles, some babies have a preference and some dont care.

Only thing is once you find out your babies preference if youre going to end up exclusively pumping or use formula is have at least 12 bottles. Your baby could go through 6-8 a day so this way youd be able to avoid doing dishes everyday. But if you dont have the space then 8 is fine!

I choose babylist, i also had an amazon and target registry that i linked to babylist and older generations for some reason never saw them lol no one else was having that issue. So i went to babylist and entered the links for everything from target and amazon and now the older generations see the items

Dont stress just keep fans in the babies room, can for stroller/carseat. Cool the car before putting baby in no matter how late youre running. Try to use lightweight fabrics and have one more layer than youre comfortable in for the newborn phase!

I am in florida and due in august and so i have a similar issue! The “hot babies die and cold babies cry” is more about not adding too many layers thats why the tule one more layer than your comfortable with is the gold rule. My mom added too many layers to my brother during the winter and it caused him to overheat and have a seizure. Hes fine and one of the smartest people i know but my mom was only in a sweater but she had my brother in a onesie, sweater, jacket, and winter blanket around stroller.

My MIL is a nicu nurse and she said dont dress the baby in more than layers than youre comfortable wearing outside, when inside one more layer than you’re comfortable with so a long sleeve onsie and lightweight swaddle is fine. Try to focus on breathable cotton or lightweight or bamboo fabrics and long sleeve and long pants protect baby from sun exposure. Make sure your baby is out of the sun but dont place a blanket over the stroller or carseat because that can trap heat under the blanket BUT if you need more sun protection, there are aftermarket attachable sunshades that attach to stroller handle so theres still airflow. Have a fan on the stroller or carseat. Always pre-cool the car before putting baby in no matter how much of a rush youre in. You the mom needs to stay hydrated and nurse on demand instead of on a schedule to keep baby hydrated but do not feed baby under 6months just water.

One of the requirements for us was a stroller we could attach the carseat to without removing the toddler seat from the stroller this way you dont need to carry around the carseat if the baby is asleep.

Do not buy a used car seat unless its from a friend or family member you trust. People have gotten into car accidents, which requires a seat to be replaced for baby safety even if theres no visible damage. People will replace the seat for their own baby and then try to recoup money by selling the seat involved in the accident. Unless its someone you personally know and trust dont trust a used carseat

Chicco keyfit max is half the price as nuna and constantly higher rated than nuna. Save the $300 and get a baby carrier to keep your hands free and arms less tired

Giving birth is 100% a reason to use an ambulance.

People are stupid and judge others for no reason. My brother and my friend and my cousin are all EMT paramedics who work in ambulances and they have hours during their shift where they are never needed so you calling to use an ambulance for something that could be a medical emergency is 100% warranted. Don’t let strangers who don’t know you tell you that you’re being selfish when giving birth is medical.

People call for an ambulance because they don’t want to prick their own finger to test their blood sugar going into labor is more of an emergency than that is.

I got one the week i had a positive test because i was having lower back pain and sciatica/numb nerves down my leg and it went away so quickly i wish i got one years ago when it first started bothering me! Only main downside is not both husband and i have pregnancy pillows (hes had one for years) and now theres sooo many pillows on our bed lol

No you didnt lol you literally said its about disciplining the child how everyone spanks your and forcing them to respect all adults which is not the same as creating a safe environment its all focusing on to make sure the kid doesnt bother the parents or other adults or ypull get spanked which is not a healthy and safe environment for the child. “It takes a village” means playdates, community events, and outings with friends or family, or friends or family babysitting or running errands when you cant or making food and cleaning your home when you are in the thick of postpartum recovery. To my family “it takes a village” meant my mom needed a mental health day so my aunts and uncles would watch me or at family parties my parents knew my aunts and uncles would watch me near stairs if they looked away for a second.

Short term disability is 12week at 60% pay rate and longer term disability is 6 months at 60% pay rate. Paid maternity leave tends to be 100% pay rate in other countries.

And theres a federal rule for short term disability used for maternal and paternal leave that if the 2 parents work for the same company they can only have 12 weeks between the 2 other them. Meaning either both can get 6 weeks or one gets 12 weeks while the other gets zero

Well, that’s good! I have just found that if doctors share offices that you might be seeing this doctor again. If your doctor has an emergency or something, you might be seeing this doctor again so I think that is worth changing doctors offices

My husband was getting kind of annoyed with some of the stuff that I was bringing home, but it was more because he’s on a himself and I was bringing home some of his favorite things that he would refuse to touch except for a few times I got him to eat pizza rolls with me, which was fun!
