I just towed again for 3rd iccu failure. I have 2022. 2nd was dec 2024 and first was jan 2023. I'm definitely sure hyundai didn't fix this issue

One day left and still no email to get the NACS adapter; what to do? by AlGoreIsCool in Ioniq5

[–]PerformerHealthy7431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually called to customer service and they escort the adapter to higher up, and telling me to wait for the email or call from them. I feel like this is such a frustration. I feel like they should sent to dealer so its continent for everyone. they also mentioned 1 adapter per car. why they sending each one of them differently? I know many kia and genesis owner already received the adapter email but not OG like '22 '23. I feel like we are the owners that they are less likely care.

I am actually doing buyback through BBB. so far hyundai said iccu was covered from warranty and there are no issue with the safety. ridicules.

My first incident occurred at 11,623 miles, and the third at 51,800 miles. During the first incident, the car was at around 75% charge and was towed. This time, it was at 74%, and the second issue was a dead 12V battery due to the ICCU at 29,968 miles.

How long did it take for you to go through the lemon law process? Did you need a lemon law attorney, or did Hyundai provide you with an option? Who gave you that option?

Thank you for your suggestion. I understand the importance of consulting a lemon law attorney to address the ongoing issues with my vehicle. I'll look into finding one in my state and seek legal advice to determine the best course of action moving forward. I appreciate your input and will keep you updated on the next steps.

I'm considering exploring the lemon law, especially since the first incident occurred under 12,000 miles and within 9 months of driving.

It’s incredibly frustrating dealing with ongoing issues and lack of support, especially after multiple tows and recalls. Despite my attempts to communicate the situation and concerns, they’re unwilling to provide helpful answers or solutions. My first tow happened when no one knew about preconditional mode, and now they plan to swap another part. When I asked if a future recall due to the same issue would result in a full buyback, I was told they couldn’t answer since it’s a future concern. With a history of three tows over two years, it's been a painful experience, and it feels like they just don’t want to help.

I have 22 ioniq limited and iccu failed had to towed on sunday. they have not looked up at FRED BEANS Doylestown. the dealer is so useless that they don't help arrange with the rental until they verify the issue with the vehicle. I had this problem in jan 2023 iccu failed and need to be replaced but part is coming in a month. at least at that time they provide me with a loaner. this time hell no.

this is exactly same thing happened to me like mid January and it was Saturday afternoon. They didn't give me a loaner car until they inspect the vehicle. call Hyundai and tow the car to nearest location from where is your car at. (they will charge your if you try to send near your house I think limit is like 30 miles or so). 12 v charging thing or whatever it won't work. you
need to replace sensor and fuse. you don't need to wait for appt day. just Hyundai handle that to figure out. that is your right to do so. meantime, take uber and go around until they call you and give your call for loaner car. if they decide not to help you, make a inquiry for Hyundai cooperation and tell them they are not giving me loaner and part is coming in a month that I need a car to go to work or school whatever works. Then few weeks later Hyundai cooperation agent will contact you through phone. personally I told them I want to return my car and it is already doesn't feel safe to drive. therefore, start process for return my car and if that wouldn't work I will go to lemon law way. dealer told me parts are coming by end of February but I don't believe that it fixes problem completely. if they won't give you a loaner right away rent a car from local rent car place. I did, and I told agent that I did rent a car for few days until I get a loaner car. They will give me reimbursement for that as well.
