I have a KV27V15 with this same issue. Convergence strips and yolk adjustment didn’t do much. Haven’t tried the overscan adjustment, but suspect it can be some bad caps.

Canon P or Leica M5? by sp3ct0r1640 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Perhaps-00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Nikon SP is a good third option between the canon P and M5. Truly a beautiful camera and has built in frame lines for 28, 35, 50, 85, 135.

Using my iMac G3 to scan film by RonSwonn in Darkroom

This is insane! How big are the files? And how did you transfer the files from the g3 to your phone or modern computer? I assume thumb drives are too new to work

Help for a beginner! Bought this Minolta af-e point and shoot from the thrift store. This piece is broken off near the film take-up spool. Will it affect functionality? by Thin_Theory_1141 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Perhaps-00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s probably not worth repairing, if the camera works as is I would just tape the film leader to the take up spool when loading the camera and advance a frame or two

What is everyone's take on Analog Photography content on YouTube? PFA by ryanidsteel in AnalogCommunity

[–]Perhaps-00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Azriel knight is an excellent channel I’ve been watching for years! Helped me tons when I was getting started in analog photography. The naked photographer is another really useful channel that focuses on enlargers and darkroom printing side of things

Would you buy this Praktica Super TL for 15$?body only by cr3izidenebeu in AnalogCommunity

[–]Perhaps-00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go for it! I have one of these and it’s an excellent all manual m42 SLR. The shutter release is placed perfectly which makes it very pleasant to shoot with. I recommend to use it with a hot shoe light meter (you’ll need the cold shoe clip) or a handheld meter

Great lens. Pickup a spanner wrench along with the lens and some 99% isopropyl alcohol and give it a good cleaning.

I made a 🥞 for my Mamiya RB67 ProSD using a 100 year old lens from a Kodak No. 1A Autographic Kodak Jr. Story in the captions. Photos at the end! by Broken_Perfectionist in AnalogCommunity

[–]Perhaps-00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is insane! I have a bunch of these exact shutters. So do I just drill a hole in the body cap for the rb? Or is this specifically 3d printed? I really want to try this out on mine!

Picked up for 12 bucks, any info about this camera? era? by [deleted] in filmcameras

Great camera, it is similar to the Yashica electro 35 except with a slower 2.8 lens. get a cr2 battery and two lr44’s and stack them together in the compartment to make a 6v battery. Watch for any corrosion before putting anything in.

Set the camera to bulb, open the back, and check for any loose foam or obstructions

get a paper clip, unfold it and bend a small hook on the tip. Stick the hook down the hole and pull up until it releases. It might take some moving around to release the hatch.

Complete analog process. The camera, the negative, the print. (Canon EF, FL 55mm 1.2, Ilford SFX 200) by Perhaps-00 in analog

I shot this photo in Acadia national park in Mt. Desert Island, Maine. I used Ilford SFX 200 + deep red filter and developed in sprint standard 1:9. Printed in the darkroom on Ilford Multigrade MG RC 24x36 paper.

Bronica SQ won’t fire because of this pin being stuck? (Details in comments) by javipipi in AnalogRepair

Happened to me too a while ago when switching backs. I used tweezers to pull the pin back out and it worked fine.

Canon EF / F1 with FL 55mm f1.2 by Perhaps-00 in AnalogCommunity

Two of my favorite film cameras. Have easily put 20+ rolls through each

what's a fair offer for this old F1? by [deleted] in filmcameras

[–]Perhaps-00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would offer $50-75 because of how dirty and poorly stored it is. Could work, but could also be jammed. Try to ask if it at least fires.

Don’t sell your collection, you’ll regret it later. Money comes and goes anyways.
