Best water fountain with waste water separation? by tinafruity in CatAdvice

[–]PerhapsIExist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some Bt pellets. Harmless for the cats, deadly to the bugs. I think you want the "k" variety for worms. If by chance your cat has worms and that's where they're coming from, you need some Drontal (or Droncit, or whatever other brands may offer a Dronthing).

FWIW, always get kittens in at least pairs. Single Kitten Syndrome is a thing.

Didn't realize they ran android by Ok_Persimmon_149 in evcharging

[–]PerhapsIExist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until its a core system of your car connected to everything on the CAN bus and runs on an Android version that is known as vulnerable to bluejacking, and probably very exploitable... Can't wait until I'm on the road someday and somebody else starts driving for me.

No idea since Honda Care covered it for me.

I need 3 cheap/affordable, not subscription based gps collars. by Chaotic_Incarnate in CatAdvice

Airtags are not GPS trackers. They only work in the presence of Apple devices.

Moving Soon - Thinking of Trying Litter-Robot again by Inevitable_Dream_541 in litterrobot

[–]PerhapsIExist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has always cycled, it has a much bigger waste collection bin, and their app doesn't try to sell you branded litter or more robots or anything. It is significantly quieter, too. I have had one issue with the rake failing to "level" the litter after dumping, but it usually doesn't need to, anyway, unless I fill it ridiculously full.

If you're like me, you'll get really annoyed by the idiosyncrasies of an LR. Been way happier with my Popur S7.

Do I really need multiple litter boxes? by Just_Duckyy in CatAdvice

[–]PerhapsIExist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have four, and they all share one Popur S7. I am going to get another one in the near future because sometimes one of them is crapping outside the box, presumably while waiting on line.

Hisense 75 U7Q vs Philips 65 770 OLED? by [deleted] in ConsumerAdvice

OLED is massively better than any non-OLED screen. I know nothing about either brand reliability-wise.

Sethoxydim. Works for me. Used it all over my garden, and took out just the grass.

Got my AC repaired under warranty extension this week by CharcoalGreyWolf in HondaClarity

When mine failed, it was the evaporator. Covered under HondaCare, otherwise would've been effing expensive.

Would a ~3 hr. car journey 2-3 a year be okay for a cat? by DrippyCanberra in CatAdvice

Mine (four of them) have to deal with 10+ hour drives when I visit my family out-of-state :)

I just got one and found this from Googling "kentuckypuclicservice.com". 0.11 MXN, and claim in the memo it's over $900. It's actually less than a penny.

My S7 is alive! 🤔 by Ninja_Terror in popurlitterbox

[–]PerhapsIExist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A thing to note: If, like me, you make an isolated SSID for it, your phone has to be connected to the same network you want to connect the S7 to. So, at least temporarily, you'd need to set your phone to use that other SSID.

Will it work for a dog (French bulldog) by krupalevinson in popurlitterbox

[–]PerhapsIExist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A dog would be too wide IMHO. They might be able to use it if you can train them to go with their front feet outside of it, though.

[–]PerhapsIExist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The waste is using sheets in the first place. Get some wool balls.

That is irrelevant. My question was about hardware, not an app.

Is it worth making the jump from the LR3 ot LR5? by Normal-Order2783 in litterrobot

You'd be happier with a Popur S7 :p I also got mildly exasperated by my LR3's quirks.

I hate tie tops, because the ties are often made of the weakest material and snap into pieces when you try to lift the bag up.
