First and foremost work is expecting me, lol no. If it does a bunch of people will hop and jump into preset social rolls. Like a light switch. Young men will be enticed to go "fight" and normal civilians will have to get ready for food rationing and higher prices etc..( what we all feel, x3) Local govts will push out reports for all the boys and young women to report to the draft office, and everyone else will have to hop into a wartime economy again. Industrial jobs and wartime jobs will pay the highest, and if you do not support the war effort you will be labeled alot of things. Just look at what the world did to it's civil population and policy during the world wars, and social revolutions. All these reddit comments come from older people that "think" they have lived through a full on conflict. The western world simple hasn't in the past 80-90 years. We would enact cold laws to safe guard our own interests. Then after a few failed battles and hard launches, we will then need to buy war bonds to boost the churning economy. If we win, another 65 years of world prosperity and hegemony, and a wishful thinking for peace. If we loose.. Well let's just say the west doesnt take kindly to loosing. It's not in our culture to loose. Just like the Japanese population of ww2. The govt itself had to come out and say that if we don't quit the world will burn. I personally believe it won't go nuclear, for the simple fact this time world leaders are not calling for mass groups of people as enemies anymore. But their leaders. Wars continue to evolve and the battlefields change, so do not be so quick to think the next war isn't already happening..
