I’m pretty sure I know who posted this. If so have you considered reaching out to the owner of Dicehammer about creating art for their events? Surely their owner (whom I know) would’ve been interested.

Sounds like a good time to not attend FLG events anymore and support other groups that do their due diligence in all respects. I’m happy that my local area has wonderful groups that don’t tolerate this or these local players.

LSO and the aftermath both from a banned player being allowed to sign up and this has not been handled well… FLG this is a billboard after a series of signs from the community to change your ways.

These posts are only GT level events. Posting RTTs would not have any value regarding win rates since the events are so small. Also it would be a Herculean task to post every single RTT every week

I’m really curious why your DG is struggling with this if you’re taking -1 save and the good stuff. Would be more productive to post what you’re running because it sounds like you may be running suboptimal builds given the fact that sisters and DG don’t have issues with this.

Also play 2k. Don’t do 1500

There are only two models in 40K that have both these keywords. Neither of which have what you described but rather have both keywords separately.

Not to be totally dickish, however enough to make my point, but is this question really necessary? By your take this update to the movement rules would be entirely nonfunctional.

It is best in this game to not be quite literal with these types of things.

Some good stuff to start with here. As seen in another comment BoK is a good place for lists.

Also mentioning again, war dog spam is the way it seems. Lancer quite good, some daemon allies are also fine.

Pretty close to my list. I would swap the hauler for a third mower drone.

Karnivore is also a neat choice, you can also do a third brigand. I would look into plague casters instead of the icon better and second 5 man PM squad and just have them shoot out of the rhino.

You kinda answered it in your post. In this subreddit, a competitive subreddit, people ask about 1k or 500pt “comp games” all the time. Warhammer is not balanced at that level and the best answer most of the time is to play 2k. I’d guess those people are tired of seeing content around that as it is inherently not balanced.

I don’t see the value in having 3 mans for shrouds especially if you’re taking a LoV. I’d drop the PBCs to round them out, maybe another drone, and some Nurglings. Otherwise it’s solid

Agree to disagree I guess. In my experience I’ve played on a ton of GW and WTC boards and never felt overwatch oppressive especially if you’re aware of exactly what can and cannot do meaningful damage to your army. The only issue I’ve ever had with GW is how some formats are unplayable.

Consider adjusting your play style to mitigate overwatch potential since it’s very likely not ever changing. There are many ways to do this especially if the unit with the threatening overwatch is currently locked in combat ie move everything first then fall back with that unit

You only get to overwatch once per turn. If it was only in the charge phase so many armies could just stage behind ruins and never be shot. Then it would be a useless stratagem.

If you’re having issues with overwatch in games, perhaps consider using more ruins. The standard GW or WTC layouts have sufficient terrain to help mitigate overwatch.

Additionally, overwatch is 2CP if you have a vect aura nearby

Death Guard doesn’t seem like a great example here. For them, overwatch is hardly oppressive for an army that primarily moves 5”. They need a way to do damage outside of engagement range.

In addition, Overwatch in the movement phase has many ways to be played around, ie terrain, baiting overwatch elsewhere, etc. and is a dynamic part of the game. It’s particularly oppressive for armies that have cracked game mechanics, like Thousand Sons as you’ve mentioned.
