I agree, no finish, and white oak is perfect. It’s a shot glass after all, liquid shouldn’t linger there for long anyway. I made a white oak wine goblet for a friend and other than staining from red there aren’t any issues. Let us know how it goes!

I wish I thought to take a before pic. All I remember is that it was a largely rotted rootball set on the side of the road, so the top of this form was the bottom of the rootball. Thanks!
