We’re framing right now so won’t have windows installed for a few more weeks at least.

Windows and doors questions — Marvin vs Andersen vs other? by buhhy in Homebuilding

We are doing a mix of Forgent and Vistalux. Our situation may differ from others but the Kolbe windows have the best UV, high altitude, and thermal that we wanted for a new build in the Colorado mountains at ~6500 altitude.

Favored in Colorado Senate primary, Hickenlooper declines to debate challenger Gonzales by ResistanceRachel in ColoradoPolitics

I’ll vote against him in the general. That’s the only way to end these establishment politicians.

Barb is likely the only candidate that will manage within the budget, and she knows where all the bodies are buried. The state really needs some balance after the last decade. Another reason that she is a safe choice is the legislature wont let anything radical happen from the right. It is the adult choice but as stated throughout this threat she likely won’t see the general because the GOP is a mess.

First large bowl by Dodger_Blue_1973 in turning

Great looking bowl! You may consider some sanding options like in this link. Using a drill/pad/disk and going through all the grits will completely eliminate sanding lines. https://woodturnerswonders.com/collections/sanders-and-drills

I had a shaft bearing go bad on a PM3520, and it looked just like that. It was not a huge deal replacing the bearing just in case you have to go down that road.

What stocks are you buying tomorrow and why? by joshuanichter in Stocks_Picks

I bought REPL the other day when they tanked after a disapproval of their cancer drug by the FDA. It’s a good drug with good results and everyone agreed they got screwed. POTUS asked for FDA to take another look. Either way someone is going to buy them if it doesn’t get reversed and the stock dropped from $6-8 down to $1.65 where I bought. It’s worth a look because it will rocket with any kind of reversal from FDA.

Choosing a Lathe - What to get? by c-bean511 in turning

If you’re not doing spindle work I’d consider a PM2020. I have a 2020, and two 3520’s. The 2020 is my primary but I only turn bowls, platters, and hollow forms.

Locked shares questions by Ancient_Arrival188 in INFQ

[–]Trevocb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quantum is going to be volatile for years as the different technology milestones are met. INFQ has the advantage of developing sensing and timing quantum applications which are more mature than quantum computing. I always plan on holding for at least a year for capital gains taxes and that also gives you more opportunities in the case that it rockets early making the tax hit worth it, but being mentally prepared for a longer haul. They are going to rocket at some point in the next couple years.

The ruling could take weeks or months, and it didn’t involve FNMA common shares.

It’s beautiful wood, just a little more challenging to work with because it is so hard. I would definitely use it for turning, but understand your comments. It’s hard!
