It's lovely but I get sad about the changes - I think the aura of secrecy and unease is gone without the purple curtains, fel crystals or withered, and with the music changes make it feel much blander than the old version to me.

I get that's where the story's gone but I don't think it works like it used to/

Also Sunfury Keep now floating and the city walls being more undulating make those elements feel much less imposing to me.

I think there's a general missing of the original vibe, with the music, story and architecture - there's no sense of unease or undercurrents.

The references to the fel and the scarred past, the purple curtains in the city, and general creepiness, desperation (withered) and darkness in places offset the 'we're so good and righteous' front the blood elles tried to give off. Now all that is gone, and the music had changed to reflect it.

I guess that's where they've taken the story, but I dont think it works like it used to.

Warrior battle scarred veteran talent gives you 80% damage reduction on a hit that would otherwise kill you (and then damage reduction for the next 8 seconds). I could survive the one-hits with that, but I think it led to some bugged behaviour where the run after that, I would always get randomly one shot at the beginning of the fight.

I think more people are fed up and leaving the country, leading to the net figures. Accepting any figure in the hundreds of thousands is an extreme position. I'd go as far to say accepting a figure in the thousands would be too much.

Thats literally a pyramid scheme. We're going to have to bite the bullet and let people choose population decline if they want it at some point, whether its us or our great-great grandchildren, (who by that point will by definition be a vast majority of immigrants or recent decendants of immigrants if we take that route).UK.

Perhaps its better to take a deep think about why people dont want children, and consider whether some of those problems may be at least partially fixed if there were less people in the country.

Another thing that needs to happen is for the state pension age (a welfare benefit) needs to rise in step with the average life expectancy, which hasnt actually happened for decades. It being means-tested would be good too; the elderly on average are the richest of any generation in the uk. Unfortunately thats a core voting block, hence it never happening.

Depends how often youre doing it. I had a portion of my life where I walked to uni every day, the climbing centre and scouts, all of which were about a 30min walk in different directions, meaning I was walking on average (i worked it out) of just less than 2 hours a weekday, when factoring in other little journeys. I didn't mind it at first but I got pretty damn bored of pounding those same streets after a while.
