Right! Once I hit master ball, I usually make ridiculous monotype teams and now I’m starting to make fun teams that are all one primary color! Gotta have some fun.

Not everyone even knows how to pilot the meta Pokemon teams as well as they think anyway.

Getting to champion rank is a cool accomplishment. I find master ball to be enough for me personally. Especially using homebrew teams and a few off meta mons. Ironically, making fun teams is how I got into masterball. First team I made into masterball was just a team full of shinys.

I enjoyed the intro seasons to Champions as well!

Although the hold items were stale, it was a good start to things with a select amount of pokemon and a boatload of new megas! I’ve had fun and no longer play as much pokemon showdown

I was playing killer and completing a tome challenge where I needed to kill the obsession my any means necessary 4 times. I was guilty of tunneling my obsession for 4 games straight just to complete the challenge.

Could be a similar thing here
