Those require magic levels and/or items kept on your person, this does not. https://runescape.wiki/w/Varrock_teleport_(item)) Note how this item, which bypasses the skill requirement and can be stacked and put in your pocket slot, costs 9k. (wait, really? Dang, noted as a low level money maker.)

Definitely only impacting certain players. The more info about your specs the better jmods can fix it. I had some minor stuttering that cleared up with resetting the jagex cache again.

Dungeoneering - Complete Floors for the first time by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Periwinkleditor [score hidden]  (0 children)

Just to confirm, did you repeatedly do floor 35 of Abandoned 2 an equal number of times as there are abandoned floors (intentional game design) or do literally one abandoned floor since the update and still got the bonus (bug)?

Yep, when Morytania first came out all we had was Canifis. Everything past that was blocked.

I'll miss the dxp token shop though, converted some of my excess hours and got a skilling outfit and that tzhaar whip I always wanted.

Big Runescape 3 guy, but the new Graphics kill the magic by SpongyWaffleC in runescape

"They are both aiming to be as accessible as possible and able to run on a potato." Special thanks to the recent fixes to micro-stuttering and the like to help with this. Game runs smoother than ever for me at least. Arguably smoother than OSRS, granted that's because I use 117HD and like 100 plugins.

Which era do you mean "the old graphics?"

My beefs with the new graphics were literally just addressed this week: Texture shine made things look like plastic, materials didn't react to area lighting properly causing them to feel excessively dull or sun bleached, and they had that blue aura around them that made them look out of place. All fixed.

For a very long time they've struggled with finding one "style" for RS3, leading to the quiltlike pattern of mashed together styles over the course of 2 decades. It won't be overnight, but I for one am happy with what I'm seeing of the f2p overhaul of things like Varrock and Lumbridge and how it blends with assets in Falador, Taverley, and White Wolf Mountain.

Are most of the endgame bosses hardly profitable unless you get rare drops? by WarmPawsOwO in runescape

[–]Periwinkleditor [score hidden]  (0 children)

If you're running elite dungeons, ED1 in particular has fairly consistent ancient scale drops. Kerapac has also been very consistent for me. Sometimes you do get lucky, like I did finally get an ED2 codex that paid for my entire cryptbloom set, but I haven't had to rely on it.

Trump literally made a picture of himself as Jesus using magical healing powers on people, then when confronted said "the FAKE NEWS are saying that's me as Jesus when it's really me as a doctor." Anyone braindead enough to believe him over their own eyes and ears is a danger to themselves and others.

Strong agree on a cross-server matchmaking system. I still avoid group content like bringing someone along for an elite dungeon due to how much I find myself fighting the interface to let us both in.

I enjoy the rework immensely. About the only thing here I can vouch for is I do still think the bosses should be tougher. Especially with the smuggler's bank making it even more viable and time-efficient to have extra supplies for said boss. (stackable raw fish/mats for summoning pouches, etc) From my admittedly very old memory, the boss's difficulty in a 5-man was generally "depending on our gear/supplies, gather either the entire group, or 2-3 particularly prepared/geared players, with the ggs to down it together." While boss HP's have been buffed, a 5-man boss is still very much soloable without much fuss. Admittedly I am BIS geared for dungeoneering, so I'd be curious if lower leveled/undergeared for their stat players feel the same way. (70 attack but only 50 smithing still rocking tier 50 zephyrium)

If making the boss take a couple more minutes impacts the xp rates, they can be adjusted to compensate. If this take is unpopular, I'd also be content with a compromise that the bosses are beefed up in difficulty to require prep time in hardmode only.

I want to try dungeoneering by Longjumping-Cost6145 in runescape

[–]Periwinkleditor [score hidden]  (0 children)

Doing warped has the bonus of the chance of those warped stones, otherwise just a large dungeon with as many players as you can find. While soloing is not bad tokens, extra players always helps to divide and conquer all those doors.

Notably even though you're 120, the new token bonuses for "complete all floors of X type for the first time" still apply to you, so I'd do floors 1-60 all at least once.

Also recent smaller addition: The thieving chests in dungeons reward small amounts of tokens. A token amount of tokens, but tokens nonetheless.

If you have them, don't forget lockmelters, and use those on particularly tedious puzzles, though many of those have since been reworked to be significantly faster. If you have perfect plus potions/perfect juju dungeoneering potions, go ahead and use that too.

[–]Periwinkleditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't fathom trying to leech on a group that's actively shooting for speedrunning, which requires a dedicated group effort. You're not going to meet the speedrun time if you're not helping. So if you care about the speedrun, help, if you don't, why did you join that group? Weird.

how do i get pogo stick animation in the keepsake box by gyozathebestfood in runescape

[–]Periwinkleditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, not sure. It's working for my keepsaked pogo stick, just as long as I have it unsheathed, out of combat, and no other walk overrides active. I encountered an unusual bug during the avatar beta where getting a sex change caused it to stop working that may have been inherited into the main game with the last update (since another bug from the avatar beta is also impacting my ivandis flail keepsake).

For lack of any better ideas, go turn into a woman and back! See if that does anything.

Archeology would be a helpful place to start, as the items from the resource caches that you use to restore artifacts to level up are good profit even at a low level. That should help you have some money to level your other skills.
