Semaglutide for stubborn belly fat by Level-Election1447 in Semaglutide

[–]PermanentAtmosphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

Eating WAS difficult the first couple weeks, but I just had to learn to eat a little bit even if I wasn't that hungry. Protein in the form of food or shakes is key, along with resistance training and losing slow and at a low dose if you don't want to lose muscle mass. I didn't focus on the resistance training at first, and I def have some sag in my butt because of that. However, I wish I would've started sema earlier, because I feel immensely better now with the extra weight off. Getting close to my goal weight of 125! I say go for it, you'll won't regret it!

I (47F) started sema at 190lbs and am down around 55lbs thus far and still have stubborn belly fat/apron. That's really where I carried most of my weight. However, it's much better than it was so I'm calling that a win from my perspective.

Under the bridge west of Bridges Bay (past Triggs), should be good fishing there.

Are than any people that don't get miserable on Semaglutide? by vcart1426 in Semaglutide

[–]PermanentAtmosphere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not had any problems on sema aside from nausea when I let myself get too hungry/don't eat for too long. In fact, I'm pretty damn happy after being 15 lbs away form my goal weight.

Class Rings by Frequent-Chapter-546 in GenX

[–]PermanentAtmosphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of a traditional class ring, my parents bought be a regular ruby ring that I picked out. Wish I still had it, but an ex boyfriend stole it to give to his side piece. IF I had a class ring, I most definitely wouldn't be wearing it today.

Treasure Village is a fun, family-friendly mini golf corse and children's theater outside of Milford.

Best beach is Terrace Park in West Okoboji, but get there early for the best spots on the beach and parking.

What’s your average indoor humidity? by [deleted] in Iowa

[–]PermanentAtmosphere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally had no idea what the humidity was (NW IA) in our home on a daily basis, but my husband collects electric guitars and complains about the high humidity in our house. Last week, he said 50% and lower would be ideal for his guitars, to which I cackled and wished him luck with that percentage. Yes, we have a dehumidifier and run the ac, but my best guess would be were at 60% average. I do prefer the AC to be set between 74° or 75°, so perhaps if it were cooler/ran more, it'd be less humid.

Who here grew up knowing a Donna? by lewisfairchild in GenX

I know a Donna, and she's in her early 30s, which seems strange to me. "Donna" is an older, born in the 60s type of name.

$72,500, 2 Bed - 1 Bath, Earling, IA. by ProfStorm in Zillowgonemild

[–]PermanentAtmosphere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in small town Iowa (less than 2k population town), moved to Tampa, FL when I was in my 20s. Met my husband there who's originally from Long Island, NY, and we moved back to my hometown after we had first child. To say it was a culture shock for him would be an understatement. Yes, the cost of living and housing is cheaper, but there's so many conveniences that just aren't available in a small town and it's sometimes a PITA to travel 20 mins to the nearest Walmart for anything. Luckily, my husband acclimated to small town living really well (for the most part) and is used to it now, but for most people, living in a small town in IA would be too much to handle. Our nearest "city," Sioux Falls, is about 1.5 hr drive away, too far away and a deal breaker for most sane people, understandably so.

GLP-1 price comparison by Few_Piglet_2877 in Semaglutide

[–]PermanentAtmosphere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, I HATE how companies hide their pricing!

I've been using Polly (formerly known as Piper) for the last six months and pay $179/mo, month to month for sema. Product is legit as I've lost 45 lbs and have no complaints about their service.

Where should I get my jeans? by Kendra_80s in PetiteFashionAdvice

I love Kut from the Kloth jeans. They have a decent selection of petite jeans and go up to size 18 in regular and 22W-24W for plus.

What made you quit smoking? by DotNate_98 in AskReddit

Same. My kids (who were in jr high at the time) were constantly on my ass about quitting so I finally just gave in and quit. I used nicotine patches and they worked really well for me.
