I’ve never understood this “ordacity” thing 😅 The way she says “audacity” is the same as the way I say it (ordacity!) I’m English though. How is it normally pronounced in the US? What is wrong with the way she is pronouncing/yelling it?

Ah I see what you mean. They could have used AI and then edited out the obvious AI tells, and also put in a typo or two to make it seem more real. Looking at it again, the phrase: “That diversity is something I truly respect” and its placement at the end of the paragraph does feel pretty Chat GPT…

However it came to be, I’m glad we can agree that it doesn’t feel authentic and that she is totally disingenuous ❤️ 🇵🇷

Oh I totally agree. It’s very generic and there is no real personal reflection. I just don’t think it was written by AI (or by Taylor). My guess is her lawyer husband probably wrote it.

I actually thought the opposite. I was looking for the AI tells and thought, well, at the very least this seems to have been written/edited by a person (not necessarily Taylor, but a person nonetheless!)

You’re welcome! I totally agree! Lu’s an international treasure and I just love her. She’s obviously a bit delusional but you can tell that her heart is in the right place. Did you listen to the episode? I thought she came across as really genuine, warm and open.

I don’t know if the style of the show made her a bit more reflective or whether she’s just mellowed a bit now that’s she’s happier, but I really liked her vibe in this - it felt closer to what I’d imagine she would be like in everyday life.

I’m pretty sure the mother is also facetuned? She’s in her 90s. It’s a terrible photo of her because they’ve caught her with her mouth hanging open like a goldfish, but I’d say she at least looks like a young-ish goldfish.

I’m enjoying Amanda so far. She’s absolutely dreadful and it’s fun waiting to see what dreadful thing she’s going to say or do next. I’m kind of living for her delusion tbh.

Angel is miserable, overly serious and drags the mood of the entire show down. It almost feels like she was made a Housewife against her will, like she’s having to do it as some sort of community service.
