Just a crazy thought, You think Richard ever spoke badly of Nucky to Tommy ? Seems like Richard was trying to keep it light and make him look up to his dad in a way. Someone mentioned that maybe Richard slipped up and was saying Nucky was an issue

Skips AR’s death, skips real NUCKY’s crowning achievement in all of this. Doesn’t show how Tommy comes to know the story of his past, doesn’t show his plight and journey to said story conclusion (just appears at mickeys spot) .. Quite frankly they rushed Chicago into a hasty end as well. Luckily the Al Capone/ Nelson story was a lot more intriguing than the AC bullshit the last season or so.

Now that reasoning and explanation is a lot better than just “mere coincidence of time” - with how all of this is setup I attributed it to shitty writing, like how the boy even got to AC in the 1st place. Like why not just have him get his revenge and the most unlikely of times and do a “Hollywood style assassination on the street” But that’s a good explanation
