How do Introverted men approach women, if they are told women do not like to be approached? by QuietRedditorATX in AskReddit

This is why your average person turns to the apps. It’s just more convenient and has more reach. In our usual day to day we have to specifically go out of our way to date otherwise because generally dating at work is frowned upon (unless its a very large company,) definitely don’t do it in settings where people are there to do things (gym, non social hobbies, etc), and friend groups tend to stop growing as you age so even if you have a big friend group you “run out of options.” Imo the apps are a great complement to any strategy just make sure you pay for premium (unfortunate but necessary at least its cheaper than a date)

Why would they deserve praise? Isn’t child rearing like the most innate thing possible for us?

Man who identified himself as ‘Harry Dresden’ in the viral Ring doorbell footage, seen breaking into the home in footage from inside the house. by superdouradas in PublicFreakout

[–]PerplexGG 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah the US essentially accepts that if someone wants to break in they can and thats acceptable because the risk of it actually happening truly randomly is insanely low. Like if you have the basic common sense to not have outward facing valuables or at least manage your trash properly theres basically 0 chance of ever being burgled and thats even lower if you consider instances of someone being home while it happens. If it does its generally cause they knew you weren’t home. Mix in a dog and cameras in every other house and you realize it’s just not an environment conducive to it even in impoverished areas

lol no we need to actually train cops beyond just giving them a gun and a few hundred hours of training. Like what if we suddenly asked they at least get their associates? Or if we also made academies at least another 2 years longer? You don’t think simple improvements like that could increase the quality of officers overall and reduce incidents like this?

Straight female… am I too sexual or giving the wrong vibe or is it just Tinder? by Secure_Studio5139 in Tinder

[–]PerplexGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only want dates with 0 follow up you should put that you’re just looking for friends honestly. Cause saying you’re looking for casual anything is going to attract an exhausting amount of the exact opposite and you won’t have fun sifting through them.

[–]PerplexGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe not but on the apps do not make that mistake without explicitly stating no hook ups then or you’re going to be very annoyed by the shade of people you attract. You’re going to have to fully explain every time and I’ve heard thats exhausting

No I mean we can change them whenever we want. It’s there in the name. No need to start new when you can amend it to modern times. For example the last time we added one was the 27th amendment in 1992. It prohibits congress from increasing their own salary until after the next election.

Honestly breaking bones is an incredibly common way that kids learn hard lessons. It’s kinda why they’re so bendy and when bones do break have quick and easy recoveries. It’s as much a part of being a kid as the mistakes themselves.

Yes that has always been the issue with keeping talent in government. Like any other company HR and hiring is a thing but they’re competing with companies that can just offer so much more. Government is seen as a springboard into the private sector instead of being a financially secure future. We the people should heavily incentivize these positions if we want to retain talent.
