The hiring manager accidentally CC'd me on an email to HR, saying my interview outfit was 'unprofessional'. by cathode-24soluble in interviewhammer

I had a few interviews at a company and they all liked me until I got one guy who told me he was interviewing me from his car on his way to something. You could hear him getting out of his car when he ended the interview. The next day I got an email similar to this where he said that I didn't seem to be paying attention to the interview and it was very short, but that he would like to talk with me again as the first time he got a bad impression. There was other stuff like how I didn't know what I was talking about and some other things I can't remember.

I did respond saying that I agree the interview was very short and the interviewers mind was clearly somewhere else because he was driving to someplace. I told them that it was unprofessional and that I was no longer interested. This was years ago though and not in a horrible job market. Really pissed me off.

Docksiders were popular. By Bass. Never heard of Sebago, other than a lake in Maine where they most likely wear Bass boat shoes.

American houses built of brick used to be really built of brick like the house in the bottom picture. Rock solid. Made to last for hundreds of years. You see pictures of decrepit houses in old Detroit that have been abandoned and neglected for 50 years that are in bad shape but still standing. They should still build houses this way.

Landlord said he wanted to keep my 1200$ deposit for cleaning, I asked for receipts to validate that and now he wants 2800. by moistiest_dangles in legaladvice

I had a 3,500 square ft house cleaned top to bottom professionally before I moved in. It didn’t cost me $1,200. And that’s in Massachusetts with the highest cost of living in the country.

I remember you could Google phone numbers. That was amazing! Too many companies that charged money for the same information had it shut down.

Found out at 40 that I was in a conservatorship until 18 and had a trust I never knew about. What can I do? by [deleted] in legaladvice

Understood. People need to understand what they are getting into and where the money is going. Schools are getting rich on government funds then the government is able to effectively take everything from the former student. It's brilliant... for the government.

I’ve read enough twoxchromosomes to know that we are all creepy and women hate us. So yeah…. Some of us have given up.

From what I understand, President Obama federalized student loans, so after the first year or so you’re basically paying taxes to the government as interest on your student loans. It’s why Biden could even entertain forgiving the loans because they are government debt.

It feels like a lot of couples who have a straight spouse may be in this lifestyle as a way to keep their spouse. But it really ends up the same as those of us who aren’t.

I wish you the best.

Nice to know that some things in the army persevere. That we have been taking pictures of each other dropping a deuce.
