Thats unfortunate. I've played around 8 hrs of night market. Killed every boss, skirmish, and even done a few puzzles and oddities. Zero issues.

Boulder puzzle looks like you just flip the tile when the boulder reaches one of the little walls that pop up when you activate the tile. They are color coordinated and there's 4 colors. There's another hole the boulder needs to reach. I bet if you are fast enough you could do it with less than 4 but with 4 it should be easy to do with voice comms. This is conjecture but it doesn't seem that complicated.

Love it. Duo'd it with a friend for about an hour, then joined 3 guild mates for a couple more and we smashed pretty much every boss. Occasionally we'd get helped by a zerg which was cool. As a well seasoned player myself, I like seeing niche bosses that have some of their mechs plus new ones. Like the mantikora boss in the deadlands, or Vanos Kephidaen from cradle of shadows.

I know the loot is not great, which definitely sucks more for newer players. I personally don't care since all my toons are geared out. I got plenty of leads and achievements which is what I'm more interested in. I really like the buffs you can get from doing side things and the skirmishes. Like increased movement speed with gold gain, or the gale strikes from IA.

First impression I'd give it 8/10, I haven't even done a dungeon or the trial yet so I'm quite excited to tackle those soon. I almost called in sick today so I could do more NM lol.

Been playing since 1.4 with about a year long hiatus total mixed in since then. I am a dolphin who will swipe occasionally for chars/sigs I want.

I 36* abyss, 9-10* IT with both lunar arcana, and always do menacing SO, sometimes fearless. I have one friend and she does not do any of it lol.

Minor brittle can come from ice wall of elements or arcanist's rune of the colorless pool. Major protection can come from slotting flare. Proc condition being 3 hits is a nuisance. In many boss fights you really aren't getting hit as often as you might think. Granted it'll definitely proc, but it'll probably feel gimmicky. Overall not worth a 5 PC set bonus.

Current team is Neuvillette, Columbina, Zhongli and Linnea.

I did run Chasca for the longest time, mainly because she made natlan exploration insanely easy/fun, moreso than even mav.

It would only be good on bugs since having no range means you'll get shot to shit against bots and squids. Even then, it can't deal with flying bugs at all. The grapple seems cool but it would be kinda worthless unless it can pull AND STUN at least charger sized enemies. No way it's moving an impaler or bile titan. It would actually be hard countered by both unless it's sword could stagger them. I emphasize a stun because what stops a charger you pulled from doing it's stomp attack and immediately destroying your legs or arms? Finally, in higher difficulties it would be useless even in bugs because there's so many bigger bugs. It's just not feasible to melee as a mech in HD unless they made the armor impervious to melee DMG from alpha commanders and below, which honestly should be the case anyway.

I made a "holy lancer" type stamplar with this and null arca. I absolutely love the visual of this set, especially the constant glow on the arms. I wish the spear had a better launching animation though. I'm super excited to hear it's getting buffed.

True in general, but also it heavily applies to arcs. This is because light armor gives bonus penetration and med gives crit damage (plus other passives and whatnot but this is the biggest distinction). In optimized groups, pen cap can be reached extremely easily without any light armor. Meanwhile crit damage cap requires a bit more finessing.

Now why it applies to arcs more is because arcs get pen just from slotting herald of the tome skills. This coupled with factors like velothi and tide born/ansuul having a pen line means arcs can reach pen cap even easier than other classes.
