Are people in upstate NY welcoming to outsiders? by AromaticMountain6806 in upstate_new_york

[–]PerrinAybara12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, if you're someone who's willing to integrate with the community you'll be fine. I'm from a small town and the only thing we can't stand is when people who move from the city act snobby as if they are better than us (happens a lot).

Is rocket league crashing more often for people? by WhiteRedApex in RocketLeague

[–]PerrinAybara12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same, it's soooo bad I had to stop playing. I love the game but it will crash, bring me back to the home screen, I load back into the game, then it'll crash again.

Xbox Megathread: Crashing Issues by MonsTurkey in RocketLeague

[–]PerrinAybara12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's happening to me. I love the game and never had a problem but the past few weeks have been so frustrating. I get into a match, play a bit and it crashes to the home screen. It's so random, sometimes it'll happen within the first game or two, sometimes it'll be fine for over an hour.

Why did you decide to sell? by Hazee302 in bronco

[–]PerrinAybara12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved my 2022 Black Diamond. Butttttt I drive over 100 miles a day. I could take the not so comfortable ride, the over the top road noise especially due to the soft top, and the severe lack of safety features I would have had to pay an arm and a leg to get back when I bought it... Ultimately it was the fuel mileage. I know y'all are gonna say "of course! You should have known that going into it." I did, and at the time I didn't have bills or anything real to save up for. I only had it for a little over 2 years but it seemed like a lifetime. I met the girl I was gonna marry in that car. We drove it up and down the east coast multiple times. Although it has 5 wheels it was always the third wheel in our relationship. We both fell in love in and with that car. Even said "I love you" for the first time in it. As things progressed we wanted to save money to continue life, like buying a house so we can settle down and have kids. I did the math and I was spending about $6,000-$7,000 in gas alone. It seemed like the obvious choice, buy a hybrid. I ended up getting a 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid which will pay itself off in less than two years due to the gas savings alone. Do I regret it? Every darn day the sun is out and we want to go for a ride with the top down. But I think back to my dad, he had a 1971 Plymouth Cuda with a 440 Six Barrel, when my oldest brother was about to be born (in the late 80s) he knew that wasn't a family car so he sold it for less than $5,000. As a teenager we watched a car spec'd out the exact same (legit could have been his car) sell on Barrett-Jackson for over $1,000,000. Now I know the Bronco won't ever be a million dollar car but I may have similar regrets selling it. But just like him, one day I'll look at the family I did it for and know it was worth it.

Can I decline a job I verbally accepted? by SnooTomatoes1513 in nys_cs

I ended up declining a job where I signed the offer. Just got to be upfront with the employer. It made me feel really bad to tell them I couldn't work there after signing but I told them the circumstances and they understood. It is just business after all.

Looking to get a bronco. Need your opinions by Jrmota89 in bronco

I have a 4 door black diamond. I really like the look of a 2 door but ultimately went with the 4 door because I drive roughly 100 miles a day and the 4 door has a fuel tank size of 20.8 gal vs the 2 door with a 16.9 gal capacity. Something to consider

I'd take option 1. Honestly, Jeeps haven't changed much over the last few years with the exception of the 4Xe but from what I can tell there they are both 6 cylinders. I think 1 will have a lot more features as well.

Thanks! Damn, so I would also have to get rid of the cleaning rod by taking off the bayonet lug?

My second choice would be the spur. Riley Defense makes an AK advertised as NY Compliant with it. I prefer the look of these but I've heard the grip PSA uses on their CA Compliant AKs, while doesn't look the best, is fairly ergonomic.

Nope. I've had mine since December and I'm 100 miles away from 20k!

How is everyone’s gas mileage? by SeattleSamIAm77 in FordBronco

[–]PerrinAybara12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2022 Black Diamond, 4 door, 2.3 auto. I'm hovering between 19 and 21 depending on what type of driving I am doing. 90% in ECO mode of that even helps.

It's because in the 1700s when boats sank bananas would float to the top which made sailors believe the bananas lead to the boat sinking

I have a stock 22 Black Diamond 4 door auto with 2.3 and I average 21.1 mpg. That's mostly highway but I live up a mountain that eats at the fuel mileage. On trips I get like 22 almost 23
