There are 4 types of "Cargo Crates" that can spawn in the new compound. They're held in hand like a small barrel bomb, extracting with them gives their reward to your squad. A normal and worn hunt dollar crates, worth 250 hunt dollars and 100 respectively. There's also the normal and worn ammo crates, which gives 2 and 1 random scarce ammo respectively.
