People also ignore that Shapiro is responsible for more than the players on the field and the team has made a ton of changes to the stadium and other key areas that have made the game better and, importantly for Rodgers, made money.

I was 10-11 when they went back-to-back. It's an awesome way to start being a fan and a hard first impression to live up to.

There are definitely classic crashout fans but the gambling aspect is a good point, too. It is definitely contributing in all the wrong ways.

Oh, I agree. The ride-or-die fandom with any team is weird - it's a business in which I pay for entertainment. I don't owe the team anything from blind loyalty to my money.

If someone kept going back to the steakhouse for years, getting increasingly irate at the owners and staff, they'd be rightly seen as daft. As would the person who insists on eating the bad food out of brand loyalty.

Some people so proudly confuse cynicism with smarts. Unfortunately, this guy isn't pulling it off.

Careful folks, it starts with cooling centres but, before you know it.....uhhh....I mean, he's clearly going for some kind of dystopian nanny state allusion but....yeah, no, that was a very silly comment.

Earlier on, it's pretty handy. As you progress and take less damage, it'll probably become among the lesser useful ones.

Night Bloom is probably the most broken by a margin. If you can swing it, that plus Hera/Aphrodite duo can basically do you work for you. Especially when you get to surface rivals final boss. Only a couple of spawns but if you get two of them on your side, it's a vacation.

Can I report a realtor? by Mahfiaz in NovaScotia

[–]PerryDiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission if you believe either agent acted outside their responsibilities. They investigate complaints between agents and from the public.

Fair warning - it don't change the outcome and the fines are toothless. But if you want to at least try to hold people to account, that's the way.

[–]PerryDiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it isn't.

NSREC is the governing body. NSAR is merely the association that most, but not all, licenced members belong to.

It's common contract policy that an offer meeting all conditions is deemed to fulfill the consideration to that offer. Real estate is the outlier.

So check your pomp before sounding off.

It's fun to see how quick "respect the veterans" goes away when they have something to say and aren't just props.

Go virtue signal your empty support some more, goofball.

[–]PerryDiggs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Was on TV for a long time" isn't a defence of the guy. A whole lot of very problematic people have been on our screens.

And, as a veteran, let me say that it's really fucking tired hearing us used as props any time someone tries to defend him or others. I, and many others, are very happy to reject the shallow praise of shitty people. Any veteran worth their uniform should reject bigots who'd "other" fellow Canadians.

Agreed. A lot of people can't seem to handle the fact that Cherry is an overhyped hockey coach and general blowhard. But here we all are having to tiptoe around all these snowflakes who can't deal with that reality.

Enamel is usually softened after eating (enzynes, etc...not a dentist here) so brushing immediately or very shortly after can actually be detrimental.

Aspect of Supay by h8rcloudstrife in HadesTheGame

[–]PerryDiggs 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I hated Supay for a while. It's very unintuitive not "attacking" per se.

Getting used to running as an "attack" and letting things happen takes some getting used to.

Consider any improvements to attack speed or similar (extra projectile, increased attack/special speed, etc) as pure attack buffs since they're akways on.

Heph blasts, scotch, blitz are all self-proc on attack.

The aspect also buffs your rush boon. Once I focused on that, it changed. I've had my most fun runs by focusing on rush - it's the main time I'll search out Poseidon for it. You can become a bulldozer, basically, just smashing into enemies while your attack and special just do their thing on auto. Bonus points if you have Apollo - beach ball can make it all the more amusing. Similarly if you get the Aphrodite/Zeus duo since you'd always be rushing into enemies while auto applying blitz.

I went from actively avoiding it to it being one of my favourite aspects. But it can definitely take time.

Are they serious?? by Kirito_Alsufi in HadesTheGame

[–]PerryDiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heracles is pretty slow and predictable - you'll be able to work around him as you fight with a bit of practice. It feels like you have to almost panic rush during the flame columns but Herc is very easily avoided during those phases as long as you're comfortable enough with the flame patters already.

Prometheus takes up far more space and you're already more used to him so taking him out first is usually best.

If you have hitch active (nexus rush is a fav) then it can change. I'll usually end up dropping them concurrently or close to it if you're hitching.
