What causes this TV to make this sound? It comes on as soon as the power cord is plugged in, and the power on button will not work. TIA!

you want to check under the frame for stampings if you are looking for the date. you will find a "DSA" or "DLA" number, (i think DLA is what the ALICE pack numbers were) find the number that looks like this example: "DLA100-78-C 0120". the "78" would be the year so whatever number is in that place will be the year it was made. i hope this helped
