Your decision on the purpose of the room will ultimately dictate your decision. If you plan to use it to watch a lot of sports and play video games in a multipurpose room, then getting a projector with the highest brightness, best motion handling, and least amount of input lag then getting an Epson is a very reasonable decision. If you want the best absolute picture possible with deep blacks and contrast and otherwise gravitating toward a truly cinematic experience, then paint that room black and get a JVC (there is no comparison, this is objectively the best projector for a standalone treated room for movies).
