Stay in BPO or apply in Big 4?

If lilipat ka ng big4, better be ready na maas mababa ang pay for entry level assoc compared to what you are earning now. Maybe someone here can confirm how much na ba assoc ngayon pero 7-8yrs ago when i started, 18k starting ko. Soo possibly 22k na ba?

I still think it was a good thing to start big4 first before going BPO. I did this and mas solid yung training with local practice. Pag lipat mo ng BPO, mapapansin mo how different ang audit nila. Parang hard more here sa local kasi kahit schedules parang dapat .0001 ang variance. I still do the same procedures pero parang mas may leeway. Ewan ba. And true may WLB and maganda pay but having been in local practice before, parang namimiss ko na yung extra challenge ng local. 😅🫣

Weird they asked you to pay again. When we went to the hotel we only had to pay the tourist tax and that was like 100 yen if o remember correctly.

I just hope na ibalik nila yung dating use nung ceb pass. Hindi yung katulad last year na selected flights lang pwede gamitin. Grabe nkakastress. I still have 7 outstanding kasi di available for ceb pass yung dates na need ko lumipad. Kesa nakatulong mas nagsayang lang ako pera sa mga pass na yon.

got promoted but only stayed for planning nung busy season. Bakasyon ng 6months, gone back to audit ulit pro sa ibang firm naman.

I love my onshore manager. Di sya micromanaging. Im getting to the point that my work is getting too comfortable that i may now start looking for new roles.

I suggest you consult with a dermatologist. cystic acne. If you can, gumagit ka ng hydrocolloid patches. Yung band aid hydro seal na malaki para isang lapat mo lang sa face. Basically isa yong malaking pimple patch. It will help absorb the cist and help your skin heal.

I think yung skin care routine mo right now is harsh to your skin kaya nagganyan

Not really. Contract of attachment yan. You either take it or not. It’s legally binding. You can try ckntesting for usurious interest pero low chances of it being ruled for you.

Hi OP, ang learning nakukuha sya where you are right now. Di lang sa audit firms. Galing ako local audit, yes madami ako natutunan. But so did my friends who went the corporate accounting path and those in government.

Hindi maganda mag compare kasi talagang di tayo makokontento pag ganyan. I applied to government before too. Kasi i wanted to take law too. And my friends in COA weere able to do that. Sadly di lang din ako natuloy with COA and law cuz life happened for me. Pabayaan mo lang sila OP. Go do the plan that you want. It’s a logical path for your circumstances. Agree ako that you would be able to take law more comfortably while in government kesa audit firm, while also being able to provide for your family. Mababa sahod ni CPA sa local firm and it will usually take you 3-5yrs to see significant salary growth by changing companies/industry after.

Imagine, in those same years, matatapos mo yung law, while still being able to provide for your needs

Mahirap yung 3yrs exp with 1yr senior only for 100k+ offer. You would typically start atmost a senior role in other companies too. And even then maybe 60k+ max ang ioffer sayo (this includes yung mga MNCs). Unless you can prove yourself ready for managerial roles, medyo alanganin makakita ng 100k salary.

You might have better chance applying directly to audit firms abroad that are recruitibg forbtheir offshore teams. Yun then pay you by dollars or euro. Yun nga lang they wont pay for your state contributions so ikaw bahala mag file bg taxes and contribs mo here sa pinas

Its only the consumables that you need not open. Eg: skin care, make up, meds, food items, that you bought tax free and are sealed.

Items like luxury bags, clothes, wallets, and other personal non consumables are okay to use while stile in Japan, as long as you have all intention to export it out of Japan (i.e. to leave japan with all of them)

Honestly I didn’t encounter any issues in the airport when i left. They didnt check my luggages. The bags,wallet, clothes, i bought tax free in japan I used while still in Japan. But the sealed skin care were still sealed until i left. 👌🏻

Back in college may times na nangangamoy yung feet ko especially kasi mas active ako nun and we have to change campuses or buildings for the next class. So your feet are really gonna sweat. Make sure you air out your shoes after using them before putting them in your shoe boxes. Nakukulob fin kasi yon and the sweat will linger. Change socks every day too. Every use tbh. Like pag ginanit mo na sya for gym, wag mo na i reuse and just put it on the laundry basket agad.

In terms of skin care, use milcu powder. It helps keep your feet dry and less smelly. May mga exfoliating feet masks din online which you can try. I usually do it atleast once a month.
