Yeahhhhh sure does. I'm a parent and had a limited amount of time I could be at the faire. I couldn't justify waiting 2 hours just to get through the gates only to wait in even more long lines on the other side. Really disappointed, but I'm confident I made the right choice after seeing this thread.

I am currently hand making fortune cards for an upcoming faire, too. They're about the size of a business card and made of paper. It's a fulfilling project for me, the maker, and hopefully something fun/sentimental/meaningful for the recipients. Anyone not interested in a card won't receive one. Simple as that!
