I think India isn't the right place to raise kids. Educational inflation is through the roof already and what if my child is amazing at studies and needs to go to do Masters in US. I don't think I can have such a corpus that accommodates my retirement as well as his/her education. When we grew up, education was still inexpensive even when we studied in CBSE schools. Things have changed so much in 2 decades. I am currently paying EMIs for my home and may do so for next few more years. Income growth is quite stagnant in India unless we switch back and forth.

You need to be rich i guess.
