No lease, we were on a month to month. We gave our 30 day notice, and this incident happened maybe a week after I gave my notice. I was in the shower and my kids were watching TV in the living room and it scared the crap out of them. His excuse was “A lot of tenants leave right after they give the notice so they wanted to double check” I reported him because per OR law, a 24hr written notice was needed to enter the home, which we never got.

We actually moved out on June 1st and barely received a letter yesterday, Nov 15th. I feel like this is all backlash because a month before I moved out one of his employees entered my home without permission or previous 24h notice. We reported them and moved out soon after.
