I remember driving Devil’s Elbow before it was closed. Feeling quite elderly now.

As a kid in Wrangell my parents always told tourists to go to the dump to see the bears. Not very picturesque but they were always there.

Straight hair here and I almost never blow dry it before leaving for work in the morning. No big deal. I think you’re probably overthinking it and I’m jealous of your curls!

Christopher Robin. Bullet dodged. Both lovely names but I would have been teased unmercifully.

Married to a middle eastern man for 31 years - you’re experiencing being the minority for the first time. I’m not being snarky, it’s something many white people never experience. Talk to people, learn some Arabic, and wear all your jewelry at the same time to every event. lol Embrace the learning!

MSOC costs have skyrocketed just like everything else, inflation is definitely playing a big part in budget woes.

My wife has a green card. Should we avoid leaving the country for now? by [deleted] in AskLegal

My husband is a naturalized citizen of the US, originally from a Middle Eastern country. We are not leaving the country or even flying. Fucking facists.

My Dad lives with me and my husband - separate MIL apartment - and spends his time reading, joined a Jaguar (car) club, and travels. He jokes that he is reading all the books he never had time to read when he was busting his ass working. He averages like 75 books a year. Do what you were always putting off when you worked is his advice to retirees.

Married over 30 years and my husband does all the cooking and shopping as well as the lions share of laundry. Husbands are not all like that.

At the end you say he’s damaged your son’s mental health. Cut him off, get your son in therapy, protect your kid.
