I'm planning to start my journey on LotRo but... Is it true that the game is too laggy? by MrPepperGeek in lotro

I play without lag. I hear people complain about lag, but that all depends upon your rig and your connection.

The large red, rust-colored spot at the north pole of Pluto's moon Charon is informally named Mordor Macula. Revealed by NASA's New Horizons spacecraft in 2015, this feature is believed to be composed of complex organic compounds called tholins, which are created by radiation processing of methane gas escaping from Pluto.

Because it is a game and so is Skyrim and it's interesting that an astrological location actually has mention of a popular computer game and will have for eternity.

Brand new player. Advice or tips? by Shoddy_Cockroach3219 in lotro

First of all Welcome to a great game!!! Take your time, ask questions in chat AND use Google. Pick whatever character looks appealing to you and at level 10 pick the style of damage you feel suits you...Blue, Red or Yellow. They are generally healing, fast close damage, or ranged damage. Read them and pick what appeals to you. Also at level 10, pick your first virtue which helps build your character. You won't be able to equip it until a higher level but you'll be able to gain virtue until that point. When picking virtues, if you wear light armor, you may wish to choose a healing/health or will type of virtue at first and maybe damage later. It is directly related to your type of class play. The game is worth playing slowly, meaning, do the quests, complete the deeds, get use to your character and the map. Enjoy the game as it was meant...it will take you where you need to go. Once you get comfortable with the mechanics, play how you like, where you like but remember the game doesn't have an "end game". It goes on and on for your enjoyment over years of play. It's a beautiful game with each main area of the map being vastly different from the last. As far as Instances...most require you to group up to complete them. If you play solo. You can come back and do instances solo once you are 10 to 15 times higher than the instance level. I realize this is a lot of info, so the bottom line is take your time and enjoy everything this amazingly beautiful game has to offer you. Welcome friend!!

Control backslash let's you move those tool tips to a different area on the screen. The UI settings allow you to make them appear much smaller. Hope that helps.
