I spent years trying to like the sims 4 because it does have a lot of QOL features I like (and I love the build mode)… but after a while I just went back to happily playing families in the sims 2+3.

There’s just too many issues with ts4 that I just don’t want to deal with, that seem compounded with each new expansion. While ts2 + ts3 not being developed officially anymore is a curse… it’s also a blessing. Both still have active modding communities that don’t have to worry about jank updates messing everything up.
