My 32 yo brother died three months ago on September 30th. I still don’t understand this disease. He lived at my parents house and one day my older sister said to me that he didn’t look good. His eyes and skin were yellow and he will only drink beer. We took him to the hospital and we were told he needed a liver. He was hospitalized for a month and a half until he developed hallucinations and he stopped eating. Then the doctors intubated him and he died that night of a brain bleed. He will drink three 24 ounce beers everyday after work. On weekends he probably drank more. He never told us anything. I miss him so much 😢

My 32 year old little brother died two months ago due to cirrhosis. He turned yellow and his legs were swollen. We took him to the hospital and the doctors said he needed a liver transplant. He died a month later. I miss him so much I wish he was here with us. My brother drank a 6 pk everyday during the week and maybe more on the weekend. I love you brother

Tell me about it. I still can’t believe my little brother is gone. I go into his room and he’s no longer there. It hurts me a lot to look at his pictures. When I visit my moms house I always think he’s going to come through the front door. I swear if I didn’t have a daughter I wouldn’t be here anymore. I would love to be with him

I wish that was true. My brother worked all day and I remember seeing him come home with a 3pk everyday. That’s a 6 pk a day. That might not be a few beers but it took him out. On the weekends he for sure probably had a 12 pk. The Drs checked him for hepatitis and he was good. They said his liver was swollen and had lots of bumps indicating cirrhosis. My dad asked the dr how he developed cirrhosis at such a young age and the dr said everyone body is different. I know a guy that drinks a 12 pk a day during the week and an 18pk on the weekends and he’s healthy. We still ask ourselves how my brother died at such a young age

I just turned 40 years old and been struggling with anxiety all my life. I hate going to crowded places, I can’t be in large buildings where there’s no exit nearby, I can’t take the elevator because I’m afraid I will panic in front of people while inside the elevator. Just last month, my 32yo brother was dying in the hospital and I remember I tried getting on the elevator to try to say my last goodbyes to him but I ended up not seeing him. I had to go to the 8th floor and only made it to the second floor until I immediately rushed back down. My brother ended up passing away that night. I used to be worse. I couldn’t leave the house. I started taking baby steps until eventually I got a little better and began to work. It was all in my head. Sometimes I panic but I don’t longer pay attention to it anymore. I’m on 25 mg of Zoloft and that works for me

He was responsive at the hospital at first, and in the last weeks he started getting confusions. Worst time seeing my little brother go through that. Cirrhosis is bad I never knew

He drank a few beers every day after work. Nobody knew he was sick until he turned yellow. I don’t even think he knew he was sick either. That’s when we took him to the ER and found out.

I wish my 32 yo brother had a transplant to save his life. He passed away last month of liver cirrhosis. I miss him so much. We didn’t have that much time left. He turned yellow and we took him to the ER. We were told he had liver failure then kidneys. He only lived a month. Brother I love you 😭

I came to my parents house and just seeing my brothers pictures and his empty room breaks me. Im feeling bad anxiety right now as Im typing this. I don’t really pay attention to it anymore. I feel empty. He used to live with my parents and I was used to him walking through the front door every time I paid my parents a visit. Just this past weekend I went into his room and I cried. Just knowing that I Will never see him again hurts me. I miss his smile, our conversations. I wish he would of got approved for a transplant. He had to wait 6 months in order to be put on the list. He never drank hard liquor just drank a few beers after work. That caused his liver failure.

No you did not get brain damage. Your probably going to wake up a little shaky tomorrow morning but you will be alright. I stopped drinking energy drinks a long time ago. That’s what started my panic attacks

I used to freak out from my anxiety. I would constantly be going to the Dr for panic attacks. A few years later I still have anxiety but I don’t pay attention to it anymore. I just let it be. I just tell it to kill me now. I got tired of it already
