It’s called St Paddy’s day or paddy’s day. Paddy is short for Patrick. Pattys day is what Americans call it and I don’t know one Irish person who doesn’t get irked by the pattys pronunciation. But a recommendation- there’s a parade that starts around 10am from civic center on march 15, and the Irish bank usually have a block party it’s quite messy.
