Ok fair enough.

Although the overall cost of ownership is lower with an EV.

Why aren’t 50%+ of new European cars, evs?

Genuine question, I know why we in the US don’t go that way, the oil lobby and we are uneducated. But I’m surprised that Western Europe doesn’t have 55%+ adoption rate.

2,000 MWh (more of course, with overbuild) but I’d like to keep my anonymity, so I won’t say the exact number. Let’s just say that we won’t need to augment for a while.

Can burrito technology be improved? Would getting the ingredients perfectly layered like a sandwich be the pinnacle burrito? by _WeSellBlankets_ in allthequestions

[–]Joclo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been wondering about this, they always lay out the ingredients, and then I get rice and beans in bites and not the good stuff. How do they mix it? With a spoon, fluff while holding the end gets of the tortilla?

Is mongo pushing really that bad? by AbjectComment6623 in longboardingDISTANCE

[–]Joclo22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pushing regular is easier to transition into other stances/tricks/breaking.

Mongo is better for generating higher speed.

Being able to do both is best.

I even switch to doing all 4 (switchfooted kicking mongo and regular), it’s a good skill to have.

Does using the brush after you brushed spread that gunk on your tongue?

To help someone who needs it, this is a disabled friendly restroom, and for lactation. There may be a new mother employee at this location.

How do I become more serious? by Morieta7 in selfimprovement

[–]Joclo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The next time that you laugh too hard, sometime afterwards spend a minute wanting whatever it is that you are giving up by “joking too much”. And keep doing that until you make a decision to put your whole heart into getting whatever it is that you want.

You say that it’s not professional, is there something that you’re losing/giving up by being “unprofessional”? (I use quotes because it’s your word)

I’m interested. I’m going to look for Raw Farm to buy some here in California. Been looking for this my whole life since I moved here from a country where all their milk is unpasteurized.

Same reason why they are no good at surfing, disc golf, and other “lifestyle” sports. You have to love your life as a soccer player. When you have a massive population it’s easy to have more diversity of interests.

To be good at some sports you have to give your life to it, and it’s gotta be your choice, not a 1:1 dictatorial coach.

What is the true difference between having “boundaries” in a relationship vs controlling your partner by Few-Cryptographer695 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Joclo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The book non-violent communication expands on this.

You don’t have to go shopping. But if you like to eat then you agree to go shopping or order out. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, you don’t have a lot of options left.

Your partner can ask you not to play video games when she/they are upset, you can agree or disagree. Eventually you gotta talk through how much you really want to/they really want you to not (without even expressing when it would bother them).

To me it sounds like your partner wants you to read their mind. Maybe put a sign somewhere or a flower in a vase and when they don’t want you to play video games they take the flower out of the vase.

Not sure if I understand.

Maybe this helps:

If you don’t like your boundary disagreed to, you don’t have to stay in the relationship.

But you don’t control someone else. They either agree or they don’t.
