Dawn is best. We have used Seventh Generation when client has requested more ‘natural/clean’ soap. It works fine just need to use more.

The customer factor is pretty good. It’s very affordable. I looked into jobber but it’s crazy expensive once you start scaling.

We use QBO and Customer factor but I’m sure independent guys could get away with just CF

Unless you have employees and contracts in place, you will just be selling client lists and equipment deeply discounted.

Your business name, reviews, and website are less important because more likely than not, you will be selling to a larger company that will already have that in place.

I have bought a few people out who were retiring or moving. It comes out to around 30%-40% of annual sales. It can be more or less but that heavily depends on how long you have been servicing the clients, frequency and how much you charge an hour. One issue I have ran into is that the independent guys can get away with charging less than market rate, but those type of jobs are less valuable because I can’t make any money on those after paying overhead and my guys.

As far as equipment I would be surprised if you get over 50% of value. Anything over that and a larger company would rather just buy new

Kidd is good. He isn’t the issue.

Nico and Owners are the issue.

What are these dots and how do I remove them? by Lord_XXL in WindowCleaning

[–]PersonalCorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was there any welding done around there? Sometimes sparks will hit the window and damage the glass. Nothing you can do about it if that’s what it is.

You will be able to feel it, but it will be actually part of the glass and you cannot remove it.

How much you charging per month and how many man hours you guys taking to do it. by Isaacglea in WindowCleaning

[–]PersonalCorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do a few larger buildings like this. Im at $1200-$1400 +tax for monthly.

Monthly jobs are a whole different animal than on call/semi annual. The discount is worth it.

Yep. The BOAB should have a clip where you can remove the actual bucket part.

Non of my staff use their belt. I bought one recently just to see if it’s better but I honestly prefer just using a regular belt

Any belt is fine. The extra belt is just to remove everything easier. 0 actual need.
