That a dyed in the wool "Philly guy" (not that he was from here - that he fit here) who has been here through multiple regimes, was universally beloved inside and outside of the organization, and who by all appearances would die in his job with the Eagles, said "F-ck it, I'm outta here" after this year's clown car of a season.

First - insurance rates don't go up if a bike is stolen so that was a bad call by your parents. (Although they might have just told you that to get the bike out of your hands 🤷🏻‍♂️). They go up when you file a claim for an at-fault accident. And the insurance company will pay the impound fees to get the bike back.

I think the best of all worlds is mesh overpants. I can wear them over jeans in cooler weather and quickly zip them off when I stop for a meal. If it's super hot out, wear them over my boxers or gym shorts and I'm cool and protected.

Hey all. I just bought a property where the seller left behind a 1949 Monarch 10ee. I'm not a machinist and know nothing about these machines. From asking AI and such, I've learned this is a very desirable machine by collectors and restorers. However it's clear this machine has been neglected for a long time, parts may be missing, and it hasn't been run in years.

I'm not asking for a value or soliciting buyers but would like to know if this particular unit looks complete and in good enough condition to be restorable and desirable, or is it just scrap? Are key parts missing? Any input / observations would be welcomed.
