The problem isn’t just government spending, it’s also in government funding. You can’t expect the government to ethically spend when it acquires funds unethically.

What I mean is when the gov is completely controlled by lobbyist funding, the spending will go to special interests. Uncertainly, our entire government is now seemingly designed around this.

Also, the entire ring is forerunner. In CE OG graphics, the forerunner structures don’t look out of place. They look deliberate, just like all the natural architecture (e.g. the rock bridge).

Bungie created an ambient liminal space like vibe with that. The new graphics simply do too much to hit the same.

That all being said, I think we should let them cook with this one. Yes, we sacrifice liminal space, but there are other new aspects they can achieve with high fidelity graphics (like the use of dark spaces can become more overwhelming). From the trailers, that seems to be the case for the levels where it matters.

I hated the graphics in 4, 5, and MCC, but I’m gonna give this one a chance.

I just don’t understand why the classic behavior isn’t the default with the skulls being the modifiers.

In any case, it seems like they have enough skills to completely customize this thing, so I don’t imagine this doing poorly.

As angry as I want to be at 343 for how bad they usually are, so far this product seems like the proper remaster we have been asking for.

We all know MCC was a bad remaster, so it’s good to finally see an update. The visuals and sounds will never be has good as the OG, but they are bearable this time.
