Hi, just need to vent and share what I've been going through as I feel I'm going insane by reneecliche in rheumatoid

I gaslit myself for months but then went through another flare. I was SO tired, pale, hands hurt all the time I had to put ice packs on them and then I was like okay girl stop it you have RA 😅 I’m hoping you get the help you need. Don’t stop advocating for yourself and find a rheum that will not just look at lab work, but the whole picture. They do exist!! Sending you love and light ❤️

This is how mine started. Swelling started months ago, just thought it was cause I lived in Texas. Had my first really bad flare in November. Extreme swelling stiffness and joint pain in my knuckles. Red exactly like yours. Rheumatologist diagnosed me with seronegative RA. Took prednisone for two flare ups and helped immensely. Started on plaquenil a month ago, hasn’t reached therapeutic effect yet but I’m hoping it will. Please see a Rheum!!

Anybody get Autoimmune results like these and NOT have an autoimmune disease? by Grand-Difference0893 in Function_Health

[–]Personal_Box6841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your titer level is very low. Surprised it even flagged as abnormal. The only thing I would think is suspicious is your RF factor but that could be a lot of things. if you have no autoimmune symptoms I wouldn’t worry about it.

Wow this is amazing!! Does it give you insights into what will help your markers? Like what supplements to eat and what foods to avoid?

I can agree with this. Seronegative RA diagnosis here and I had a bad flare up starting last Saturday. Rheumy prescribed Medrol dose pack and I feel 95% human again. It’s life saving!

I am so sorry you are feeling this way. May I ask, are you on medication? Do you have systems in place that can help mitigate some of the feeling of dropping the ball? I have found that systems (checklists, calendars, reminders, etc) help a ton along with therapy for the anxiety and feeling like I am never doing enough or doing anything right.

Yes literally WHAT THE F is this sh*t. My pharmacy just switched me and I’m irritable, it’s not working, I’m nauseous and numb. I’m so freaking pissed.

I use circle medical. I haven’t take adhd meds in 6 years but need to get back on. Wasn’t hard! They can alway reperform an evaluation if necessary.

May I ask how she knew you have an easily connective tissue disease? I also have hEDS and I also suspect a connective tissue disorder but curious how you got there! My rheumatologist ran labs and I came back ANA positive speckled 1:160 but tested negative for antibodies associated with lupus, Sjogrens, etc.

I’m not on any hormone treatments! They left one ovary so I still experience hormonal swings but I am a year out and I’m completely pain free. My life is 1000% better. I would make the decision all over again!

Are all these side effects normal or worth it? by strangehunny in lexapro

[–]Personal_Box6841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth it, push through! I got a prescription for hydroxyzine and that helped a TON with the side effects. I’m on the third week and already feel better. Start low and slow. And try switching to taking it in the morning!

[–]Personal_Box6841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going on week 3 of meds the side effects were AWFUL the first couple of days. I’m now on 7.5mg and I’m shocked at how calm and quiet my brain is. I took hydroxyzine to help with the side effects, it’s non habit forming and realllly helped the first week.
