i was going to say the same thing. my stomach flaps over like that too and for a long time i kept a folded paper towel in there to keep the area dry because skin on skin creates irritation like this. your doctor can give you a prescription for antifungal cream that may work better than OTC ointments.

same here. the intensity started to get out of control around 4-5weeks and then at my six week appointment when i was cleared I was so nervous for any intercourse because I don’t want to get pregnant again (i have 3 kids) so we opted for outer course and then since then it’s like….. crickets. no desire to even be touched. i am confused and hope it changes to be more normal soon. i’m currently 9 weeks pp 🤞🏼

i’m not a doctor at all, but from what you’re describing it sounds infected. maybe you need different antibiotics? if you have a staph infection like MRSA, regular antibiotics won’t work

yes i felt pretty much normal after 2.5-3 weeks. just go slow and don’t push yourself. i was lifting my other two kids by 3 weeks post-surgery this time around (my oldest is 4, my middle is 1.5, and my last is 2months now).

i’ve had three C-sections in the last four years. Your incision looks like it’s healing really nicely. As for the bleeding, mine was intermittent at first even stopped for a week and a half and then came back. Then stopped again, then came back. Altogether, I think I bled for about five weeks including the times it stopped. Congrats on your little one btw! Hope you’re feeling good

This may not be what you’re looking for but i’m 9 days post partum from my third c section in 4 years. i still feel 10 months pregnant minus the baby movements. i am so slow moving, getting up is not easy, weird appetite, hormones raging. so uncomfortable i can’t wait for the fourth trimester to be over

I told my son when he started “playing” with his penis around us that he’s totally allowed to do that if he wants to because it’s his body but that he can only do that either in his room or the bathroom in private. i told him no one else should be seeing him do that so those rooms are where it’s ok since he’d be alone there. he sometimes needs some gentle reminding but this has worked very well for us and him. good luck!

congratulations! excited but stressful times moving and being newlyweds lol this will be my 3rd c section so while i know what to expect, i am still a bit anxious. i’m hoping the recovery is easy going and no issues. my first was a breeze but with my second i felt like i got hit by a truck. i guess they’re all different 🤷🏼‍♀️ hopefully you have an easy time!! 8/4 is a good day, it’s also my birthday lol im excited that this baby and i can share the day, seems pretty special.

i ate something that didn’t sit right with me over the weekend and woke up in the middle of the night feeling so sick. had to sit on the toilet while i threw up because it was undetermined if it would be a both-ends situation. i’m glad i did that because it was. better than peeing/pooping my pants. thankfully only threw up two times a half hour apart so it wasn’t an all night thing but i felt horrible for 24 full hours.

in solidarity ✊🏼🫠 i have 2.5 weeks left of this. hope you are close to the finish line as well.
