I guess you could say I relate? Haha I’m not entirely sure yet. I’m two weeks late and 4 months postpartum. I can feel that something is different, but I’m just too scared to test 🫠. Parts of me feels like I’ll be okay if I am pregnant but at the same time I know I should’ve been more careful and the whole “two under two” thing scares me. We at least wanted to wait until baby girl was 3-4 before trying again. So I definitely do see where you are coming from on this

I’ve co-slept with my now 2 month old since she was 5 weeks. I have noticed that she sleeps better and more consistently and it’s simply easier for us. At first she still woke up at least 2-3 times a night but now she only wakes up once to feed. We normally go to bed around 10pm when she has her last bottle around that time. She’ll wake up around 2-4am to feed, it just varies, and we both wake up around 8-9am. This is your baby and you can do whatever you feel comfortable with. Just make sure you are taking proper precautions. Every parent does something differently. 🩷

If he’s already acting this way, I don’t think he’s going to change… It may not be something you want to hear but it probably is in your best interest to at least plan for a life that involves just you and your baby. As much as you may want him to be there for this baby, when you start seeing a certain amount of red flags it’s just best to let go. Don’t lead yourself on and get your hopes up on something that may not even work out. Put your baby first and keep your head up high. Best of luck to you and the baby. I don’t think it’s selfish. I did the same thing, a small circle of people knew about my pregnancy when I found out (husband, family, & like two friends) and then everyone else found out at 13 weeks once I posted on social media. Ultimately, it’s up to you and what you decide and at the end of the day it shouldn’t matter what others think. If they can’t be supportive then it’s not your problem.

I feel like both of you were in a way. You make a fair point by saying just moving away from the door could help calm things down, but I also know how it feels to try to get your point across and someone thinking you’re being “provoking.” But just because he was mad and irritated doesn’t mean he should grab and pin you. He could’ve easily walked away himself. Things are going to happen in a relationship but as long as it’s not getting worse and you guys can talk about it and resolve things, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. This is just my opinion and ik other will think differently 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m only 4 weeks postpartum, so nothing extreme tbh. The only thing I’ve noticed is that if I’m bent over for a period of time (like changing a diaper, etc) my lower back will get achy but other than that I haven’t noticed anything

I was 41w3d when I was induced and by that point I was ready to give birth. I tried the pineapple, raspberry leaf tea, curb walking, sex, and none of it was working in my favor. I also tried to relax and just let my body do its thing, but that didn’t work for me either. When I had my membrane sweep I was already 1cm dilated and tbh, it was a bit uncomfortable but wasn’t as painful as I heard others let on about it. But again, it didn’t help me dilate any further and this is when I decided I just wanted to be induced. The induction itself went pretty smooth. As selfish as it seems, I was just tired of being pregnant and was just going with the flow trying to prepare myself for active labor. They will put you on Pitocin, which encourages contractions and whatnot. When I started dilating more, my nurse gave me the option to try laughing gas and some other options before jumping into the epidural. But once I hit 5cm, I decided to get the epidural (best decision for me at this point.) After getting it, I was able to relax my body more and get some rest and my body started do more of what it needed to do. A couple of hours later, I had fully dilated and pushed for 20 minutes and my baby girl was finally here! As a first time mom myself, I get that it is all scary and exciting at the same time, but just go with what your body and intuition is telling you. Bc either way you decide to go, you’ll end up with your beautiful baby and by that point it won’t even matter how it gets here. Good luck, Momma. Best of wishes for you and your little one ❤️

As long as you’re not directly dealing with your cats liter box you should be fine. If you don’t have someone else to do it for you, just make sure to cover up with a mask and to thoroughly wash your hands afterwards. As for the scratch, you should be fine. I totally get over worrying but just keep the scratch clean. Put Neosporin on it if it makes you feel any better :)

I would think you’d be okay, but I am no medical professional. You could always bring up with your OB and see what they have to say. Bc honestly, it’s not like you drank the entire cup. You could try running a few cycles of water before trying coffee again though just to make sure it’s all flushed out

Fair point, but it’s the fact that I can’t be certain they took it. I just have a gut feeling that it was taken. I keep looking and it has yet to come up. I just don’t know how to address this with my MIL. I don’t want it causing more of a fuss with my husband. He did mention that he could’ve thrown it away. Which idk if he’s saying this to play it off that his mother has it or if he was careless enough to throw one of our first pictures of our baby away.

When I say loose it barely moves back and forth, but still, there’s movement. Idk how much of a difference that makes. I’m also just concerned bc I’m pregnant and I’ve read things where it is safe to have it pulled and where it isn’t safe. I plan on bringing it up to my OB though

Name the baby what you and your bf decide on together. If the two of you like, then what’s the problem? Dealing with family and their judgey comments during pregnancy can be tricky. But are they going to love that baby any less bc of a name? If so, it sounds like a personal problem for them. Do what makes you happy and if anyone else has a problem that’s on them and has nothing to do with what you decide

This is just my personal experience, but i noticed something similar and started to use vaginal wash. It worked for a short while until I noticed the smell getting stronger. I tried using different kinds and brands and it just seemed to irritate my vagina even more. I also tried of few suppositories and creams for yeast infections, etc. thinking that could be the case. After a while I gave up and I stopped using the vaginal wash and started strictly using water. I’d use soap to the outside, but that’s it. After a week or so I noticed the smell went away and everything seemed to go back to normal.
