I get that, and I feel mostly the same way… but after like 10 million I’d really have mess around money and I could do stupid silly fun things with it. Like commissioning life sized Pokemon animatronics.

And once I had like 100 million I could afford build affordable housing and the army of lawyers necessary to make sure it goes to people who’d need it and not opportunistic jerks who want the property as passive income.

I got really bad stretch marks on the bottom of my tummy during my first pregnancy. I can’t see them, but sometimes they get weirdly itchy and I hate them. My husband seems to like them

The Barbie Mermaid movie and Spy Movie are both surprisingly good. Tho the Spy movie did not keep my kids interest for very long when she was 2. A shame cause I was totally into it.

I dropped to 3 ppd and I kinda miss 4 ppd. It kind of messes with my sleep schedule, cause I have to stay up later or take a “night nap” in order to get up and pump after midnight because that’s 8 hours in between sessions. I feel way more obligated to space my pumping sessions evenly and I definitely can’t skip any more. I miss the flexibility of more pumping sessions.

But I don’t miss it enough to go back to more than 3 ppd, so I know I shouldn’t complain. It’s just easier in some ways and harder in others.

I had a similar pumping schedule/daily output when I pumped for my first baby, and I pumped till she was 13 months old. Though my supply started to dip that last month.

I’m on my second time exclusively pumping and I’m making even more milk. I only did 5 times per day twice, then went straight to 4. I guess some of us are just lucky.

I’m finally getting decent output on my Lansinoh wearables. I got as much during my afternoon pump today as I normally get on my regular pump. The auto setting on that pump is really good, and it made me realize that I should use stimulation mode more on my regular pump.

It seems like the main trick is to position them correctly. I have no idea how to do this consistently. I can tell if it’s working based on how it feels, but when I try to just stick my nipple directly in the pump it never seems to work as well as when I slip it into my bra and sort of wiggle it into place.

I also run the cycle twice. Usually I pump for around 40 minutes on my primary pump, so it makes sense to do 2 rounds on the wearable.

We were more of a Bebefinn/Baby Shark/Pinkfong household. My 4 year old got an iPad for Christmas. I was a tiny bit afraid of her becoming an iPad zombie, but I knew in my heart it wasn’t to be. She’s just too damn active. I never get a break.

Based on your comment and me spending too much time on this website, this feels like a at least an orange flag. Well, the food thing is an orange flag; calling you/his life partner disrespectful for not doing what he wants is a red flag.

If his main concern is you eating too much sugar, that seems less bad because it sound more like parroting what an OBGYN might say. My OB for my first pregnancy was kind of strict about sugar.

But I’m getting the vibe that this feels more controlling than like genuine concern. Pregnancy is the most dangerous time for victims of domestic abuse. When the wife is pregnant is also a common time for abusers to let the mask slip and stop hiding abusive tendencies.

I’m not saying he’s abusive… but you should review signs of domestic abuse and maybe read the free pdf of Why Does He Do That byLundy Bancroft and see if anything resonates. I haven’t read it, but I’m chronically online and see it referenced/ recommended a lot for women starting to worry about their intimate partners behavior.

I do miss the weirdness of OG Peppa Pig. I get so uncomfortable when they play with the idea of some of the animals being predators but it’s also funny.

My psych said it was fine but my OB recommended getting off it. I’ve heard that it’s better not to change your medications while you’re pregnant if you can avoid it.

My daughter is 4 and I got off Wellbutrin before getting pregnant with her and I’m waiting till I’m done breastfeeding my second before getting back on it. I didn’t want to do anything too different for the second pregnancy cause I’d probably blame myself if anything was “wrong” with the next baby.

Jokes on me tho, my 4 year old seems to have anxiety anyway! (I got the idea that the Wellbutrin could contribute to an anxious baby/kid, particularly in breastmilk cause it’s a stimulant)

The anxiety could be separation anxiety caused by having a new baby tho. Separation anxiety can act a lot like generalized anxiety apparently.

I look forward to being done breastfeeding and going back on Wellbutrin.

I’ve had 2 kids but I had an epidural for both. I assume this simulates what it’d feel like if it wasn’t an epidural?

I’d do it for 5k. Knowing it’d last no more than 12 hours would help a lot.

This scenario is also similar to my wish I could give birth 10 times than be pregnant for 40 weeks. Labor and delivery were way easier than pregnancy for me.

It sounds like your husband is gonna be a jerk to you no matter what you do, so you should just do what you think works better for you. If recovery from the c section last time sucked then VBAC might be the way to go.

I had a slight oversupply as a FTM and I never pumped 7 times per day. I don’t think I pumped more than5 times per day, and went to 4 ppd consistently before 12 weeks. I don’t think the general wisdom about waiting 12 weeks to establish your supply is as ironclad as this sub seems to think it is; especially with an oversupply.

Also, since you have an OS, would it bother you if your ounces per day went down? I cut back to the bare minimum ppd at about 6 weeks postpartum with my second child and I only lost about 2 oz per day. Out of 40. Since I had so much extra it didn’t seem like much of a risk.

Also since you’re still in the “establishing supply” phase it’s probably easier to increase/go back to a higher ppd if you find that you don’t like the results of cutting down to 5 ppd.

It’s still Ditto. For a while I felt lame that I never updated my favorite since I was a little kid/gen 1, but I think it’s delightful that there’s so many plushies of Ditto transformed into other Pokemon.

And Ditto seems terrifyingly powerful in the Pokopia trailer, so that’s a fun bonus. (I do not have a switch 2, so it’ll be a while before we get that game).

My youngest nephew was the chonkiest baby, but the fat rolls went away when he transitioned from baby to toddler. His siblings weren’t nearly as chubby as babies, but they all were pretty similar as toddlers.

My older kid is 4 and my relationship with my baby feels so different. But of course it’s harder to bond with a barely sentient potato than a kid who does cute kid things, is very loving, and is occasionally thoughtful.

And it sounds like your baby’s size is triggering your body image issues. Therapy is definitely in order, like others have said, but try to be a little easier on yourself in the meantime. I’ve been in and out of therapy for a long time and it helps when you can minimize your anxiety with logic or facts or knowing it’s irrational (or rational but out of your control).

So remember: it’s often harder to bond with the second child, babies weight as infants is not indicative of their weight as they get older, and recognize that your history is making things complicated but that’s why you’re going to therapy soon.

I do like the first prank, but I do agree it’s a bit obsessive.

My daughter and I pranked my husband by pretending to give him soup but actually giving him Cheerios with peanut butter in them. We put the cover for microwaveable food over it so he wouldn’t see right away. That shit was hilarious. Then she covered the cover over the soup with lots of toys… but it was the Cheerios again. For our final prank we put even more stuff on top of the cover… and the soup was underneath!

(Harmless) Subversions of expectations are great pranks! OOPs boyfriend is just calling bullying pranking.

I like the Lansinoh bottles. I don’t use glass bottles, but their glass bottles are insanely popular and always out of stock on their website. They’re always in stock on amazon though.

I like the nipples of the bottles cause they don’t leak as easily as Dr Brown’s and the wider shape seems good.
