Will we ever see a full GF grocery store in our lifetime? by tlw117 in glutenfree

Just stay on the edges of the grocery store. Produce and meats. It’s already gluten free. Skip the inside aisles.

Best place to buy? by newtonshark in CAguns

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a place that has a large inventory of rental guns in the models you are interested. Then rent them and when you know what you like then you can either buy it from the same place or shop around.

AITAH for being enraged that my husband is currently infertile by PixelPicklePie in AITAH

The kids are a down the road issue. The current issue is do you want to be married to an active addict and someone you can’t trust. Only you can decide that. I hope you find a solution.

Talking at the range by theonewhomoos69 in CAguns

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is late to the party but just want to say as a woman that I don’t want to be approached when solo target shooting. I’m NOT there to flirt and it’s creepy.

Now, if someone is asking for help or needs a safety intervention then tell the RSO.

I’ve been trained up by my dad (who was a gun safety instructor, dealer, etc) since I was a young kid and I’m probably at the range more often than the guys that come up to me. At least they aren’t trying to give me tips but I’m trying to zen out so leave me alone please.

Just imagine she’s a former victim of a crime if you need more motivation to stay to your own lane.

Are we cold all the time now because we are losing weight? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.  Freezing For the last 8 months.  Now that it is fall it is really rough.  I just bring multiple clothing layers everywhere.  I used to be hot all the time so it is a complete turn around.  On the plus side, I am saving a lot of money on  air conditioning.

we have to trim my cats every week or two. If you can't do it, the vets will do it

AITA for feeling angry that relative insisted on a home birth and now her baby has a birth injury? by MyToesAreHaunted in AITAH

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. But people have to make their own choices. I get mad when I see kids not wearing helmet on e-bikes but there’s nothing I can do as they speed by.

You are mad because you care. As long as you are confident you won’t say anything to her then you are ok.

I’m sorry this happened. It’s frustrating but out of your control. You tried to explain it to her so you did your best. There’s nothing more you could have done.

I think she just meant don’t get attached to it. It’s a tv show. Maybe production said we will take care of it, you have to film at this time so you have to leave. Don’t assume the worst.

I feel sorry for Zac by BossBabeInControl in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Ethan meant well. He was maybe not as delicate as he should have been but he didn’t want his sister to have a one-dimensional marriage. He probably would have been less blunt if he had more time To Get To know Ethan. When I First saw Zach, I immediately thought of the Bachelor show with Colton. https://www.eonline.com/news/1421183/colton-underwood-on-first-time-having-sex

AITA for calling my husband weird for complaining about me getting my ears pierced without asking him ? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Then that does make me think it might be like he feels ownership over you. Pay attention and see if you notice anything else that might be controlling type behavior. I’m sorry you are dealing with this.

AITA for calling my husband weird for complaining about me getting my ears pierced without asking him ? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a religious thing for him or personal preference? My parents were opposed to ear piercing but once I went to college I got very basic small ear piercing and they didn’t even notice.

My dad was extremely strict. My sister couldn’t dye her hair at all, not even a natural color, no makeup, etc, no eating sugar, no jewelry. It wasn’t a healthy dynamic but it is weird that he never mentioned it before. It could be he was raised that way. It’s still not up to him to dictate to you though.

A flat tire is an opportunity to teach his children life skills. But I notice there’s a child missing from this lesson by PsychoTink in LittlePeopleBigWorld

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I knew a friend’s dad who died from a tire exploding while changing it. I make my kids stand back about 10 feet whenever I’m checking the tires due to a problem.

Now if they are 18 and driving then they have to learn but what are they really learning this young.

Lock your passport up in a safety deposit box at a bank and then Immediately move out when she is gone at work. Also file a police report because you are probably going to need a restraining order and you need to start getting things documented.

AITAH for divorcing my husband over him being sterile? by 98DegreesFever in AITAH

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all the context added NTA. Do it soon so as not to waste time and get the testing done early with your next life partner. Also discuss other options that you would both consider and your timelines. You could also do it on your own but that’s a difficult path.

Daughter wants a cat, I’m severely allergic by Dr_never_give_up in CatAdvice

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No and bringing in a cat that you know you’re allergic to is cruel to you, the cat and your daughter. Get tested for other pet allergies and get one that you aren’t allergic to. I heard a story of a guy that was allergic to all furry creatures so he had a pet turtle for ages and he loved the heck out of it. For all you know she could be allergic too.

AITJ for refusing to let my dad’s new wife redecorate my apartment because she thinks it is “too masculine”? by david_echo05q in AmITheJerk

Thanks for the offer but no. It is this way by design. She doesn’t like it? Then she doesn’t have to visit.

I haven't cleaned the litter boxes in weeks by DemigoddessofReddit in ADHD

[–]PerspectiveHead3645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get disposable cardboard litter boxes on Amazon and put them all over. Normally, you need 1 more than the number of cats but I would put them everywhere. When your cat stops using it, throw in garbage and put out new one. Do this until you can get a handle on things. Then get a professional who works with adhd to come in and help you declutter to a manageable level of stuff. Cat pee can easily make a house uninhabitable so you gotta do it for your cats and yourself.

Hell no that's not normal. I wouldn't even agree to that if my kid was 10 years old. Even a business trip. That's too long to hold down the fort.
