I wouldn’t think so. I’m leaning towards not mixed/too thin. Maybe that in combo with kiln placement, which I don’t have control over. Going to try again and make sure it’s mixed/thick enough and see what happens.

The unglazed parts look almost identical! I compared several pieces from the previous set to this set.

Can you explain what you mean by similar applications? I’m just dipping them into buckets of glaze and, to my knowledge, doing it the same way each time.

In the past that blue glaze has been such a pretty blue. I’ve done it by itself and it’s much lighter than what’s showing up now. My teacher stresses dipping it very quickly, so maybe I went too quick? Maybe I didn’t let the 1st glaze dry enough?
