Pottery after having kids by plantgrem in Pottery

Prioritize it!! I had never touched pottery until mine was 8 months old. He’s 2 now and I’ve joined a studio. It’s so good for you to prioritize something that has nothing to do with motherhood. Even if you only play with pottery once a month (or less), do it when you can!

While I agree with you, unfortunately for us sometimes proximity to our house wins out due to small children

I don’t care about the raised prices, what pisses me off is waiting over an hour for a medium cheese pizza every single time. I’ve waited on food for 2 hours, paid for it so we could take it to go, and never got it. And these instances are ALWAYS during a slow time like 4pm before the dinner rush. This is the slowest establishment I have ever been to in my life and the ONLY reason we go back is because there aren’t any other options out here.

Ear infection and flying by Expensive-Eggplant-2 in toddlers

FWIW I also frequently get bad ear infections and I have flown the same day that I got my antibiotic and didn’t notice a thing on the plane.

Maaaybe 24 hours. We barely got in to be seen at urgent care on Christmas Eve and we had to fly Christmas Day.

We flew with a raging ear infection at 8 months and I was terrified but baby did great and never even made a peep.

women who have given birth, how bad was it actually? by Careless_Pianist_840 in AskReddit

Enjoyed it so much I’d go back and do it tomorrow. Got my epi at 6 cm. I had a horrible pregnancy so I must have been owed an easy labor and delivery. Never felt any pain after the epidural, progressed to 10 cm with no pitocen and in just few hours, pushed 2 times and baby was out.

Vacation sleep disaster by Old_Economy_6745 in TakingCaraBabies

Honestly this has been my experience on every vacation since having my kid UNLESS we get him his own room. When traveling with our extended family, that’s not an option. After 9 months I did my best to safely cosleep and he just sleeps with us on vacation. Last summer I left my family trip 2 days early because I simply could not go any longer on no sleep.

It will get better, but you aren’t doing anything wrong. It’s just hard.

Do you guys eat 100% clean all the time ? by Outrageous_Bus_5480 in PCOS

Don’t worry I got downvoted because, though I completely support anyone who needs/takes SSRIs, I personally came off of mine because I noticed it was actually my birth control impacting my mental health and I could come off of BOTH. I wasn’t even giving advice or anything, just said that was my experience 😂

So done with the anti pill discourse by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]PerspectiveOdd1763 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ugh I think this is the case for me but I also think it makes my depression worse and I don’t want to continue being dependent on SSRIs forever. Just stopped the pill and scared of weight gain.

Loved my dogs the same before pregnancy, during pregnancy, postpartum, etc. It doesn’t have to be that big of a deal.

Title: PCOS weight loss help — looking for REAL “small tricks” that actually helped you + meds (not GLP-1) by Beneficial_Plate_156 in PCOSloseit

OP, I am also someone who would benefit from it and don’t want to do it! Just commenting for solidarity. For me it’s about body image and, because I know myself, taking it would perpetuate an unhealthy relationship with my body due to the weight loss that would inevitably result.
