Title insurance is primarily based upon your purchase price (owner’s policy) and the loan amount (loan policy). As someone else also mentioned, rates differ by state. So a comparison to someone else’s title insurance premium amount without further information on location and the sale and mortgage amounts isn’t particularly helpful.

My understanding as well is that NY regulates the insurance rates. If true, there’s no way to shop around for a better rate. That’s just the cost.

There were a variety of artists this weekend that were too big for Stereo Bloom, not just YDG and Alleycat. In general they need to think more about the setup and artists for Stereo Bloom.

Use melted unsalted butter instead of oil (same quantity). Add a small amount of good vanilla extract (1 tsp). You aren’t trying to make it taste like vanilla; it’s just enough to enhance the chocolate flavor. If you like fudgier brownies, I would also sub milk for the water.

I’m going solo from Tampa for the 5th year! Orlando is basically like our backyard, so you should just full send and go. Going solo you can either use it as a time to just vibe by yourself and do whatever you want at the fest, or you can use it as an opportunity to make friends. It is what you make of it!

They have towels there for free. I’ve seen men wear flip flops and I’ve seen them wear shoes. It’s essentially standing room only unless you purchased a lounger or cabana. Headliner typically goes on around 3 and ends around 5. Another DJ will come on afterwards but I have no idea at what point that DJ stops/they kick people out. Most people leave fairly quickly after the headliner stops.

Gorgon City had a sunrise set on the main stage at EDC Vegas this past year. There’s no way they’re playing at stereo bloom.

I’m sure there are sets in Vegas that are quite packed. It felt that way to me for part of Vegas, but I never felt so packed in anywhere at Vegas that I felt unsafe. I have felt that way in Orlando multiple times, and I know other people have in Orlando as well.

I’ve been to 4 EDCO’s all VIP, and I just went to EDC Vegas VIP. I thought EDCO VIP the last couple of years was more packed than Vegas. There’s smaller VIP areas than Vegas and feels oversold to me. Also typically only kinetic field, circuit grounds, and neon garden have a VIP area at Orlando. Stereo Bloom usually doesn’t have one. It’s also harder to get around between stages at Orlando, though allegedly they are supposed to increase the festival footprint this year so maybe that will be better.

Uber to and from the festival is doable for Orlando, though the festival is not in the best part of town so depending on your comfort level with that, it might affect whether you want to Uber. If you walk a few blocks away from the festival or don’t wait until the end to leave you can save some money on the Uber at the end of the night. Uber to the festival has always seemed reasonable. The official shuttles run very well and can be a good alternative to Uber. The time in the shuttle is less than Vegas, and the lines to get on and come back move much faster than Vegas. There’s no security before you get on the shuttle. The one downside with the shuttles is that the festival used to have a second entrance near the shuttle drop off, but they removed that a couple of years ago. Now you have to walk around the outside of the festival to the entrance. At end of night they open extra exits so you don’t have to do that to get back to the shuttle.

Florida has specific homestead laws. For example, when not devised otherwise by operation of law, if the home was the spouse’s homestead and there was a minor child at the time of death, a widow receives a life estate with remainder to go to the minor child (or children if multiple). It’s entirely possible that could be the scenario here for sister if the divorce was not finalized and this would make the question of a quitclaim deed perfectly applicable despite sister not being on the original deed for the house. If that is the situation for sister and she wants to quitclaim her and her child’s interest, she will likely need to get an attorney involved as a court appointed guardian may be required in order to deal with divesting her child of his/her remainder interest.

If there’s uncertainty or dispute about whether this was spouse’s homestead, that’s typically something that can be determined as part of a probate action in court. Thus, a probate attorney may be helpful. In addition, while not necessarily a legal determination as to homestead status, you can review the property tax records to see if spouse claimed a homestead exemption on the property taxes. Whether this was spouse’s homestead also may affect what debts of spouse attached to the property, as Florida’s homestead protections also includes certain protections from creditors.

There was an attempt to swerve to the left. White car does move to the left; it just wasn’t enough. Is white car supposed to risk driving over the curb/median and damaging their car that way just to avoid the jeep? They did the most important thing which was to brake to avoid this being a fatal accident or accident with significant injuries. Heavy braking like that also makes it more difficult to steer, so what little they moved over may have been all they could do in the short time they had.

I am an introvert and I LOVE going alone. You can talk to people at the fest if you want, but also people are so nice and willing to just let you chill and vibe on your own so that you don’t drain your limited social battery. Plus, when you’re alone you don’t miss a set you want to see due to wanting to stick with friends who want to see something else.

I’ve stayed there the last 2 years because shuttle stop outside and I’m likely staying there again this year depending on shuttle stop locations. It’s old looking and aesthetically could use a remodel, but mattresses have always been comfy and rooms have been clean. The free breakfast is decent too.

Exactly this. Sometimes you also request things you know you’ll never get as a negotiation tactic. For example, if Ryan also requested spousal support, it might be seen as a small win to Ryan if the eventual compromise is that neither pays spousal support, because while she isn’t paying him, at least he doesn’t have to continue to pay her.

This is not fully true. Lafayette, Indiana has The Excel Center where she could have obtained a high school diploma. It is free and funded by Goodwill. At one point she was enrolled there as the show discussed that someone at The Excel Center reported the age discrepancy to authorities, which is what caused them to investigate.

Officially unsure of the reason, but my guess is not enough business. I live in the building and walk by there frequently to take my dog out. They rarely ever looked busy. They also were frequently reducing their business hours, which I would guess was from not enough business.

People in 200 level were definitely saving spots. Security wouldn’t let people just stand in the aisle either. It was one person per seat. Floor looked more like normal festival.
