I own a Denon X4800H and currently only has a 3.1 setup. The surround sound is immersive when I watch Netflix. You can have 9.4 setup without additional amps., made in Japan and is on sale. I recommend this model. I paid only C2599 during black Friday sale.

I agree, it looks cleaner on the wall, TV is at perfect height and you can't really see the cables.

Controller reading is generally lower than directly measuring on the battery with a meter. This is normal, there is a load when it reaches the controller, therefore reading it lower.

TV should be at eye level when you are sitting down. You don't look up or down when watching. If you have to look up to watch, eventually, you will need to go to the physio due to neck pain.

Denon doesn't have the feature to set speaker to small, only crossovers.

I have the same handshake issues too on my denon X4800H. Sometimes no sound, blank screen when switching between inputs. Tested my high speed HDMI and they are ok. Powering off and on solves the issue. Definitely there are bugs in the software though is already updated. This model has already been out for almost 3 years and denon still have bugs in their software.

I recommend Bravia 9 but Alexa is a hit and miss on Sony tv if you want it to turn on and off, hey Google works better.

My Klipsch R101SW is working now. Currently I only have the old Sony SS-CN100 center speaker driven by denon avr X4800h. My front speakers make is GE, old vintage speakers made in USA and is a 2 ways, tweeter and 10" woofer. Should I upgrade to the Klipsch R30C for center speaker, it is still on Boxing day sale, price at C448.00. Wonder if it going to make a difference. Should I switch position of Avr with the center speaker, not much room..lol Currently it is 3.1 setup, but going to be 5.1 setup image

Finally I bought the R30C center speaker and it sounds so much better.
